At least one of them is movable, and during image exposure, the first reflecting plate and the second reflecting plate are combined so that airflow for cooling the exposure device flows around the reflecting plate, and the image is not exposed. During exposure, the first reflecting plate and the second reflecting plate are separated,
It is configured so that the airflow that cools the exposure equipment flows inside the reflector, which effectively lowers the surface wall temperature and ambient temperature heated by the light source lamp, such as the reflector and lens. It is a device that can be used to obtain

1 is an exposure lamp, 2a is a first reflecting plate, 2b is a second reflecting plate, 3 is a platen glass plate for placing an original,
4 is the original, 5 is the optical fiber lens,
6 is a photosensitive drum, 7 and 8 are light shielding plates that prevent light from leaking from the exposure lamp 1 to the photosensitive drum 6, 9 is an exposure slit, and 10 is a support shaft that rotatably supports the second reflecting plate 2b. be. As a result, the second reflecting plate 2
b rotates with respect to the first reflecting plate 2a between the combined (closed) first position as shown in Figure 2 and the separated (open) second position as shown in Figure 3. I'm getting used to it.

b is rotated about the support shaft 10 and moved to the light shielding plate 7 located above the reflection plate as shown in FIG. Then, the cooling airflow that was flowing between the second reflecting plate 2b and the light shielding plate 7 during exposure is blocked by the second reflecting plate 2b, and instead, as shown by arrow A', the cooling airflow flows between the second reflecting plate 2b and the light shielding plate 7. and the second reflecting plate 2b.

This has the excellent effect of increasing cooling efficiency. and,
This effect makes it possible to avoid temperature increases in the lens system, the photosensitive drum, and even the platen glass plate, and has great effects in terms of image formation and the lifespan of the photosensitive member and toner (magnetic developer).
