(Prior Art) In general, in wiring devices that connect electric wires that are wired on the floor or wall, it is necessary to make the connected wires run as close to the floor or wall as possible, so conventional wiring devices are As shown in the figure, a lower case 2 is attached to both end surfaces of an upper case 1 forming a wiring device.
A protrusion 3 facing the side is provided vertically, and a recess 4 into which the protrusion 3 fits is formed on both end surfaces of the lower case 2, and a wire insertion hole 5 is provided between the protrusion 3 and the recess 4. By forming the electric wire insertion hole 5, a structure is adopted in which the wire insertion hole 5 is placed as close as possible to the floor surface or wall surface.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, in the wiring device having the conventional structure as shown in FIG. 6, moldability is poor due to the protrusions 3 on both sides of the upper case 1, and so-called chipping occurs during molding. There is also a risk that the protrusion 3 may break off when the upper case 1 is being transported. Furthermore, since the lower case 2 has a recess 4, deformation is likely to occur on both sides of the recess 4 during molding, and since the upper and lower cases 1 and 2 are molded using a molding die with upper and lower holes, The electric wire insertion hole 5
There was a problem in that it was not possible to integrally display characters or symbols by molding on the nearby side surface.
