Conventionally, as a device for detecting the combustion state of this type of oil combustor, a structure has been used that uses a thermostat to detect the temperature of the pot, as disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 51-4350, which is an inexpensive method for detecting ignition errors. There is a better way. However, since it detects the temperature of the pot itself, it was not possible to detect minute changes in the combustion state. On the other hand, since changes in the combustion state can also be determined by the state of the combustion flame, Jikosho
42-15728, which uses a photodetector such as CDS, and Utility Model Publication No. 53-11384, which detects flame current, improves the accuracy of the air filter. It becomes possible to detect abnormal combustion due to clogging or oxygen-deficient air, but at the practical product level, it was not always possible to reliably detect the flickering of the flame.

This invention attempts to detect abnormalities in the combustion state from the burner characteristics of a pot combustor, since the conventional combustion state detection method, which is a general method that focuses on the combustion flame, is not perfect.

1 is a pot, and 2 is an inverted dish-shaped diffusion plate attached to the inside of the upper center of the pot 1, and a large number of small holes 3 are concentrated on the side wall of the pot 1 corresponding to the periphery of the inverted dish-shaped diffusion plate 2. It's open. A small number of small holes 3' are also made in the side wall of the pot 1 other than the above-mentioned part,
The number of small holes is reduced at each stage in the portion corresponding to the inverted dish-shaped diffuser plate 2, so that the holes are scattered. Reference numeral 4 denotes a temperature detection section of the inverted dish-shaped diffuser plate 2, and in the embodiment, a germanium photodiode is used and is located outside the small hole 3. Reference numeral 5 denotes a light receiving tube of the temperature detecting section 4, and a lens 7 is attached so as to face the air passage 6 outside the pot 1. 8 is a blower that supplies combustion air to the air passage 6; 9 is an electromagnetic pump that supplies fuel to the pot 1; and 10 is an ignition heater that ignites the fuel sent into the pot 1; When air is supplied from ', combustion begins.

This invention has the above-mentioned configuration, and reduces the amount of air supplied from the lower small hole 3' of the pot 1.
Since the amount of heat generated by combustion in the pot 1 below the inverted dish-shaped diffuser plate 2 is suppressed, most of the fuel sent to the pot 1 remains in a flammable gas state and is transferred to the inverted dish-shaped diffuser plate 2 and the pot. It passes upward through the gap between 1 and 1. On the other hand, a large number of small holes 3 are opened in the side wall of the pot 1 on the side of the inverted dish-shaped diffuser plate 2, and a large amount of air is supplied in a concentrated manner, so that the combustible gas rapidly burns. As a result of the inverted dish-shaped diffuser plate 2 being installed in a position where intense combustion occurs, the inverted dish-shaped diffuser plate 2 has a large amount of heat dissipation, and can be used for several minutes in a normal room after ignition, even in a cold region of -20℃. It becomes red hot after about a few minutes. In addition, since intense combustion starts from the side of the inverted dish-shaped diffuser plate 2, even if the combustion amount is changed, the position where combustion ends above the inverted dish-shaped diffuser plate 2 changes only. It has almost no effect on the red-hot state of 2.

By the way, if the filter is clogged or there is a lack of oxygen in the air in a closed room, the vaporized petroleum gas will thermally decompose into low molecular weight flammable gas only inside the pot 1 below the inverted dish-shaped diffuser plate 2, where the amount of air is regulated. As a result, thermal decomposition and combustion are carried out by air supplied from the small holes 3 on the sides of the inverted dish-shaped diffuser plate 2, and the parts that burn vigorously become inverted dish-shaped. It now moves from just beside the diffuser plate 2 to slightly above it.

For this reason, the inverted dish-shaped diffuser plate 2 was able to change from a red-hot state during normal combustion to a state where it was hardly red-hot during abnormal combustion. In particular, materials whose main component is iron, such as burner materials, can maintain a red-hot state at 750°C, but if the temperature drops below 700°C, they will hardly become red-hot, and this difference is large, so the temperature is detected by the inverted dish-shaped diffuser plate 2. By providing the section 4, the combustion state can now be detected at the output position of the temperature detecting section 4. If a direct measurement such as a radiometer is used for this temperature measurement, the durability will be higher than when directly measured. In this invention, the temperature detection section 4 is composed of a germanium photodiode that operates sensitively to red light, and is mounted on the outside of the small hole 3 facing the periphery of the inverted dish-shaped diffuser plate 2 through the small hole 3. If necessary, a lens is provided to avoid the influence of ambient light, and the image of the inverted dish-shaped diffuser plate 2 is focused on the photodiode. In addition, when there is a large amount of fuel supplied during abnormal combustion, the flame attached to the small hole 3 changes from the deep blue flame of normal combustion to a flame mixed with yellow flame, but in the case of germanium photodiodes, the sensitivity to yellow flame is poor, so malfunctions may occur. There's no fear.

As described above, this invention maintains a red-hot state even when the combustion condition deteriorates due to the balance of the small holes based on conventional experience, and by maintaining the red-hot state, the fuel supplied to the pot is efficiently vaporized and combusted. The inverted dish-shaped diffuser plate is used as a combustion monitoring member by changing the balance of the small holes so that red heat becomes worse during abnormal combustion. By combining the inverted dish-shaped diffuser plate and the temperature detection section, it is possible to

In particular, if an element with a detection peak in red light, such as a germanium photodiode, is used as the temperature detection part, malfunctions due to flame flickering will be completely eliminated. It is now possible to reliably detect air-starved combustion due to clogging before an abnormal condition occurs outside the oil combustor, and safely respond by extinguishing the combustor.
