1により全体重を支えようとした場合の不安感を
誘発するという問題点を有するものであつた。

りに垂直回転可能でかつ垂直軸10回りに水平回
転可能とされ、支持杆5の先端部を上方に持ち上
げることにより手摺主体1が水平軸9回りに垂直

ツト3の連結部の構造もこの実施例に限られるも
のでなく、例えば第6図に示すように、球面ブツ
シユ23を用いたものでも良い。更に、切欠20
も実施例においては、多段に使用位置を設定でき
るように複数個形成する場合を示したが一箇所の
使用位置と一箇所の不使用位置を指定して計二個
の切欠20を形成しても良く、又、一箇所の使用
位置のみを定めるために、一個しか形成しない場
合でも良い。又、ガイド部21は可動型手摺自体
の構造が手摺主体1の垂直回転を必要としないも
のである場合、あるいは、厳正な垂直回転を要し
ないものである場合には不要であることは勿論で
あり、ストツパー調整ビス22とストツパピン1
9との当接による係止突起15のオーバーラン防
止に関する構成も、材質あるいは拡開角αの好適
な選択により係止突起15が切欠20内にくい込
んで外れなくなるおそれが消失したときには設け
