Detailed Description of the Invention Technical Field The present invention provides two sets of bobbin holders on a rotatable turret, and when a package of a predetermined amount of winding is formed on the bobbin attached to one bobbin holder, the package is transferred to the other bobbin holder. The present invention relates to a method and device for automatically switching the yarn to be wound in a turret type automatic winder, which automatically switches the yarn to an installed empty bobbin.

Conventional technology Conventionally, in a turret type automatic winding machine, after the yarn is threaded from a full bobbin to a new empty bobbin and cut, the end of the thread on the surface of the full bobbin is wound onto the empty bobbin that has started winding. Therefore, as shown in Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 54-64148, a means for inserting a separator between the full bobbin and the empty bobbin is provided, and furthermore, as described in Japanese Unexamined Utility Model No. 56-103558, In addition to the separator, a device in which compressed air is injected between the bobbins is used as shown in the figure.

However, in order to prevent the thread end of the full bobbin from wrapping around the empty bobbin, these conventional devices maintain a separator or a compressed air injection nozzle between the bobbins until the full bobbin is removed from the bobbin holder. As a result, the following problems have arisen: That is, as mentioned above, a separator is inserted between a fully wound bobbin and an empty bobbin, but the interval between these bobbins is narrow, and the separator inserted into this narrow space requires winding at a speed of several thousand meters per minute. Since the empty bobbin is wound thickly with thread, the thread wound on the separator comes into contact with the separator within a short time. For this reason, it was necessary to doff the fully wound bobbin as quickly as possible after the yarn changeover was completed.

If doffing is done manually as in the past, there will be little problem if the full bobbin is removed one after another each time the thread is changed, but if the automatic doffing machine as described above is used In order to achieve automation, unmanned operation, and labor saving in combination with the above, it is usual to process a large number of winding machines, up to several tens of machines, for one automatic doffing machine.

Therefore, in order to perform automatic doffing as efficiently as possible, doffing should be performed immediately before the yarn wound on the empty bobbin contacts the separator. In this way, the number of winding machines to be processed by one automatic doffing machine can be increased, and its utilization can be maximized. However, it is not desirable from a safety standpoint to keep the separator between the bobbins from the time the yarn is switched until the bobbin is fully doffed, and it is not desirable from a cost standpoint to inject pressurized air during this period. It will also be disadvantageous.

The biggest problem is that it is not possible to change conditions such as increasing the amount of winding or increasing the winding speed, or to change the brand.

Here, in the present invention, gluing means temporarily attaching the end of the package thread to the package surface, and generally speaking, it is not possible to make it semi-permanently or long-term fixed using a glue material. Although it is not necessary, it is preferable that the adhesive be attached using an oil agent that provides the adhesive force required to prevent entrainment.

When a package P having a predetermined winding amount is formed on the bobbin B 1 in such an automatic winding machine,
The turret 6 begins to rotate, and yarn switching begins. By switching the run-up roller (not shown), the empty bobbin B 2 and the fully wound bobbin B 1 (package P) are forcibly driven, and the empty bobbin B 2 is slit or moved by the operation of the thread removal and thread shifting mechanism, etc. The yarn is gripped by the thread gripping section and the package P and empty bobbin B 2
The yarn connected between the bobbin and the yarn is cut and the yarn is empty.
At the same time as switching to the B2 side, the fluid pressure cylinders 12 and 13 operate.

When the yarn is switched to the empty bobbin B2 side, the turret 6 has rotated approximately 180 degrees (Fig. 1), and when this position is reached, a signal is generated by a detection means such as a limit switch or a phototube. The hydraulic cylinders 12 and 13 are activated. As a result of this operation, the plungers 12', 13' move forward and first approach the first shielding plate 19, the empty bobbin B2 , and the package P so as to separate them. Next, the fluid pressure cylinder 20 is activated and the second shielding plate 21 is activated.
moves forward along the first shielding plate 19, and the empty bobbin B 2
It passes through the narrow space between the bobbin and the package P and reaches a position where these two bobbins are almost separated and shielded (FIG. 2). The bobbin holder 9 that supports the package P is braked and stops after a predetermined time, but
Due to this braking, the thread ends y of the package P are easily separated and rotated with a certain length floating. However, this yarn end y is
Since it is in a state where it is separated from the empty bobbin B2 by this, it will not be drawn into the empty bobbin B2 side by the accompanying flow or suction flow caused by the rotation of the empty bobbin B2 .

When the rotation of the package P decreases and is about to stop, the fluid pressure cylinder 34 operates as described above, and the roller 32 lightly contacts the package surface and presses the separated yarn end y against the package P surface (see Fig. 2). ). At this time, the yarn end y comes into contact with the surface of the sponge 28 of the gluing device 26 and is sufficiently coated with oil, so that the roller 32 presses the surface of the package to glue and temporarily adhere to the surface of the package P. It turns out. At this time, it is preferable to use the same oil that was applied before winding, and usually the ends of the yarn that are attached to the package by the oil will hardly separate until the next processing step. fulfill its role.

The method of operating the fluid pressure cylinder 20 is to set a stop time in advance using a timer and operate it in conjunction with the time up; however, the method is not limited to this, and other methods such as the bobbin holder 9 may be used. Needless to say, it is also possible to detect the stoppage of the bobbin or the bobbin holder 9 by using a phototube to detect the stoppage of the bobbin or the bobbin holder 9. The time at which the entrainment prevention device 11 is returned is approximately at the same time as the stop of the package P, that is, at the same time, immediately before, or immediately after, but preferably at the same time or immediately after.

Due to this operation, the package P and empty bobbin
B2 , the shielding plates 19 and 21 return to their original positions within a short time after the yarn switching, so that there is no obstruction between these two bobbins. Therefore, increasing the winding amount and extending the doffing time are not significantly restricted as in the past. Note that the length of the first and second shielding plates 19, 21, sponge 28, cover 29, roller 32, etc. is approximately equal to the length of the package, bobbin (multiple tips), or bobbin holder, regardless of the single tip or multiple tip type. This is preferable from the viewpoint of reliability, operability, structure, etc., but when bunch winding or the like is performed, the length may be limited to a length corresponding to the position. Further, the present invention is not limited to the friction roller type winding machine as shown in the embodiment, but can also be applied to a directly driven spindle type winding machine.

Effects As described above, in the present invention, when the yarn is switched, a shielding plate is inserted between the package and the empty bobbin to which the yarn has been switched, and these spaces are separated and the end of the package and yarn is separated. After preventing the yarn from being entangled, the end of the yarn is glued to the surface of the package, and the shield plate returns to its original position almost at the same time as the package stops rotating. This completely prevents the yarn end of the package cage from being wound into the empty bobbin side, and at the same time it is possible to increase the winding amount and extend the dotting time (increasing the number of automatic doffing operations).
Moreover, since the yarn ends are not separated by gluing, it is very easy to handle until the next processing, and the effect is extremely large. In addition, since the shielding plate and the gluing device are arranged on the sides of the turret so as to sandwich it, and the shielding plate is of a two-stage advance type, it is possible to reliably partition the package cage and the empty bobbin, and also to It also has the remarkable effect of becoming more compact.
