これに伴なう経済的負担も大きなものであつた。(Prior Art) A pair of arc horns are installed facing each other in an insulator device for insulating and supporting power transmission lines and the like on a steel tower arm to protect the insulator from lightning strikes.
If a large bird opens its wings and electrical conduction occurs between the arcing horns on both the grounding side and the energizing side using the bird as a medium, a flashover accident may occur. In order to prevent such bird damage, various methods have been used to cover the arc horn with various protective covers, one example of which is shown in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 175425/1983. However, such protective covers need to be molded into a complex shape that matches the shape of the arcing horn, so they are made from resin materials such as vinyl chloride that are easy to mold, and are therefore weather resistant. Their lifespan was about 3 to 5 years because they had poor properties and deteriorated during use, and their insulation properties decreased. Furthermore, when an arc occurs, the high heat generates soot, which stains the insulator, and furthermore, the high heat of the arc causes deformation, which impairs the flashing characteristics of the arc horn. For this reason, conventional bird damage prevention equipment not only requires inspection every time there is a flash fault, but also needs to be replaced periodically every 3 to 5 years, resulting in maintenance work and the associated economic burden. It was something big.

is the cap fitting on the power charging side. As shown enlarged in FIGS. 2 and 3, a small insulator 4 is attached to the cap metal fitting 2 at one end of the insulator 1 in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the insulator 1 with a band metal fitting A and a bolt/nut B. It is set up. A pair of small gap horns 5 and 6 are provided at both upper and lower ends of the small insulator 4, facing each other at right angles to the central axis of the insulator 1, with an insulating distance between them that can withstand the ground voltage. Reference numeral 7 denotes a ring-shaped auxiliary horn provided on the outer periphery of the end of the insulator 1 on the side where the small insulator 4 is provided. This auxiliary horn 7 has a diameter that is only slightly larger than the diameter of the insulator, whereas conventional auxiliary horns have a distance of 70 mm from the insulator, which is much larger in diameter than the diameter of the insulator, making it easier for birds to come into contact with it. In addition to being extremely compact,
In order to quickly move away the arc generated on the creeping surface of the insulator when it becomes soiled, its upper end tip 8 is curved toward the small gear horn 6 on the base side. Also, on the tip side of the small insulator 4, there is a main horn 9 and a guard body 10 that prevents birds from coming into contact with the auxiliary horn 7.
is installed. This main horn 9 is provided to face a main horn 11 attached to the other end of the insulator 1, and is used to cause an arc discharge between the main horn 11 and the main horn 11 during a lightning strike. On the other hand, the guard body 10 is a bow-shaped metal rod in this embodiment, and is located slightly closer to the center than the auxiliary horn 7, and has the role of preventing birds' wings, etc. from coming into contact with the auxiliary horn 7. . In the case of a tension-resistant insulator device as in this embodiment, there is a high possibility that birds will stop at the top of the insulator 1, so the guard body 10 is provided only at the top.

In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 5, the small gap horns 5 and 6 of each insulator chain are twisted so that their tips point outward, and an arc is created between the small gap horns 5 and 6. Even when the arc occurs, it is injected to the outside of the insulator chain of the arc, so that the insulators 1 and 1 are not affected.
Since the other points are the same as those in the first embodiment, corresponding parts are given the same numbers and their explanation will be omitted.

In this embodiment, the insulator 1 extends in the vertical direction, and the small insulator 4 projects outward in the horizontal direction. The guard body 10 is curved into a ring shape so as to protect almost the entire circumference of the auxiliary horn 7, and in order to inject the arc jet outward in the direction perpendicular to the power transmission line, its tip is connected to the wire clamp C.
However, other points are almost the same as the first and second embodiments.

For this purpose, the sum of the distance between the main horns 9 and 11 and the distance between the small gap horns 5 and 6 should be made equal to the insulation coordination distance of the power transmission and distribution line. If the insulator 1 is contaminated and an arc is generated on the creeping surface, the ring-shaped auxiliary horn 7 picks up the arc on the creeping surface and transfers the arc from its tip 8 toward the small gap horns 5 and 6. This prevents the insulator 1 from being damaged.

ら、碍子1が汚損されるおそれもない。 On the other hand, large birds tentatively appear as main horns 9 and 11.
Even if the small gap horns 5 and 6 are connected, there is still enough insulation distance between them to withstand the ground voltage, so there is no risk of a flashover accident unless the small gap horns 5 and 6 are connected at the same time. power outage accidents can be prevented. Specifically, the distance L between the small gap horns 5 and 6 is set to 40 mm or more when the transmission voltage is 33 KV and the ground voltage is 20 KV, taking into account the adhesion of water droplets. Furthermore, in the present invention, the auxiliary horn 7 is made to have a diameter slightly larger than the diameter of the insulator shade, thereby reducing the possibility of contact with birds. Since birds perched on the other end of the insulator 1 are prevented from coming into contact with the auxiliary horn 7, flashover accidents caused by birds coming into contact with the auxiliary horn 7 are also prevented.
Note that since the guard body 10 is attached to the tip side of the small insulator 4 at the same potential as the main horn 9,
Even if birds were to stop here, there would be no risk of a flashover accident for the same reason as mentioned above. Furthermore, since the arc horn of the present invention is free from burning or generating soot even when an arc occurs, there is no risk that the insulator 1 will be contaminated.

に寄与するところは極めて大である。(Effects of the Invention) As is clear from the above description, the present invention provides a small gap horn in series with the main horn, thereby preventing flashovers even if the main horns are connected by birds. This prevents birds from coming into contact with the auxiliary horn by reducing the diameter of the auxiliary horn and providing a guard. Therefore, in the arc horn of the present invention, bird damage can be almost completely prevented. Moreover, in the event of a lightning strike, arc discharge occurs between the main horn and the small gap horn to prevent damage to the insulator, and creeping arcs can be picked up by the auxiliary horn and smoothly transferred to the small gap horn. In this way, the present invention does not use a conventional protective cover at all, so the insulator is not contaminated by soot or the like, and the flashing characteristics of the arc horn are not inhibited, and furthermore, it can be used outdoors for many years. Since it does not deteriorate even after use, there is no need to replace it in a short period of time as in the conventional case. Therefore, the present invention greatly contributes to the development of industry as an arc horn having a bird damage prevention function that eliminates the problems of the conventional art.
