Generally, when sinking a caisson, both the left and right sides of the front part of the caisson and the left and right sides of the rear part of the caisson are
Insert and lock the lower part of the anchor member into the ground, and erect pressure girders that extend in the left and right directions on both the front and rear sides of the caisson, and use jacks such as center hole jacks that are fixed to each anchor member to tighten the pressure girders. The caisson is pushed down and sunk. However, when sinking a large number of caissons installed in series on the ground, if the above-mentioned conventional method is adopted, it is necessary to install four times as many anchor members as the number of caissons, which takes a long time and is costly. The problem is that it costs a lot of money.

The purpose of this invention is to provide a method for sinking a continuous caisson that can advantageously solve the above-mentioned problems, and the gist of this invention is to:
A large number of caissons are lined up in the front-rear direction and installed on the ground, and anchor members are anchored to the ground 2 on both left and right sides of the rear end of the first caisson 1A located at the rear end and on both left and right sides of the front end of each caisson. 1 caisson 1A, a front jack 3 that is locked to anchor members on both left and right sides of the front end of the first caisson 1A, and a rear jack 4 that is locked to anchor members on both left and right sides of the rear end of the first caisson 1A. The front jack 3 and the front end of the caisson adjacent to the rear are pressed into the ground by pressing the second caisson 1B and subsequent caissons to the anchor members on both left and right sides of the front end of the caisson. This method of sinking continuous caissons is characterized in that the caissons are pressed into the ground one by one using rear jacks 4 which are engaged with anchor members on both left and right sides of the caissons.

According to this invention, anchor members are anchored to the ground 2 on both left and right sides of the rear end of the first caisson 1A at the rear end of the casing rows installed in series in the front-rear direction and on both left and right sides of the front end of each caisson. Then, the first caisson 1A was locked to the front jack 3 which was locked to the anchor members on both the left and right sides of the front end of the first caisson, and to the anchor members on the left and right sides of the rear end of the first caisson 1A. The rear jack 4 presses it into the ground, and then the second
A front jack 3 that locks the caissons after caisson 1B to anchor members on both left and right sides of the front end of the caisson, and a rear jack 4 that locks the caissons after caisson 1B to anchor members on both left and right sides of the front end of the rearwardly adjacent caisson. Since each caisson is pressed into the ground one by one, anchor members other than those at the front and rear ends can be used for press-fitting the two front and rear caissons, and the number of anchor members installed can be significantly reduced, resulting in lower construction costs. It is possible to achieve the effect of shortening the construction period.
