(Prior Art) As an automobile door structure using synthetic resin as a part of the door panel, a structure similar to that shown in FIGS. 4 and 5 is known (Utility Model Publication No. 57-143913). In this door structure, the door outer panel 1 is divided into two halves, upper and lower, and the lower half 1b is made of synthetic resin in order to prevent rust caused by scratches caused by pebbles etc. thrown up while the car is running. .

To explain the structure, the door outer panel 1 consists of an upper half part 1a made of a steel plate and a lower half part 1b made of synthetic resin, and an engaging part 3 in which the lower edge of the upper half part 1a engages with the upper edge of the lower half part 1b. A side protector 4 is bonded thereon to cover the joint portion. On the other hand, the lower edge of the lower half part 1b is the flange part 2 of the door inner panel 2 made of steel plate.
Glue and fix to a. A plurality of drain holes 5 are provided at the bottom of the door inner panel 2 to drain rain water, car wash water, etc. that has entered the door body to the outside of the vehicle. In addition, a weather strip 7 is installed to prevent water from entering from outside.
is fixed to the weather strip mounting surface 6 of the door inner panel 2 with a clip 8, and the tip of the weather strip 7 is pressed against the sill 9 for sealing.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) However, in such conventional automobile door structures, only the lower half of the door outer panel is made of synthetic resin, and this lower end is connected to the flange at the lowest end of the door inner panel. As the structure was joined to the door body, rust could occur from the panel edge of the drain hole 5 provided to drain water that had entered the door body, and water that remained without being drained could cause damage to the door inner panel. There was a problem that the flange portion 2a of No. 2 rusted. Furthermore, there was a problem in that the adhesive for fixing the lower half portion 1b and the flange portion 2a protruded from the end portions.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) However, in this door structure, the lower half of the door body is made of synthetic resin material, which has lower rigidity than steel plate, so the rigidity of the entire door is low, and the panel is permanently attached. Deformation may occur, resulting in poor engagement with the door lock, or the positional relationship with the body may change, resulting in poor sealing. Also, the weather strip 7 is directly fixed to the lower half 2b of the door inner panel. As a result, over time, the adhesive could peel off or cracks could occur in the resin panel. Furthermore, the weather strip 7 is fixed to the upper half 2a of the door inner panel made of steel plate at the upper part of the door, and to the lower half of the door inner panel made of synthetic resin at the lower part, but the steel plate and synthetic resin have a coefficient of thermal expansion. Since the door weather strip 7 is different in temperature, there are problems such as the relative position of the door weather strip 7 and the vehicle body being distorted under high or low temperatures, and the sealing performance of the weather strip becoming poor.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to solve these conventional problems, the automobile door structure of the present invention includes a door outer panel in which at least the lowest panel part is made of synthetic resin, and a door inner panel made of steel plate. In the automobile door structure, an angle part is integrally molded at the lowermost part of the door outer panel, and extends toward the door inner panel and then rises to define a groove between the lowermost part of the door outer panel and the lowermost part of the door outer panel, The door inner panel is joined to the angle portion forming the side wall of the groove, and a weather strip is attached to the door inner panel at this joint location.

First, to explain the structure, the lower half 1b of the door outer panel 1 is integrally molded up to the weather strip attachment surface 6 of the door inner panel 2, and a plurality of drain holes 5 are provided at the bottom thereof. That is, at the lowest part of the lower half part 1b of the door outer panel, there is an L-shaped cross section that extends toward the door inner panel 2 to the weather strip mounting surface 6 and then rises to define a groove 12 between it and the lowest part. The angle part 13 is integrally molded, and a drain hole 5 is bored at the angle part 13 forming the bottom wall of the groove 12. On the other hand, the door inner panel 2 made of a steel plate is also formed so that its lower end extends to a weather strip mounting surface 6, and a weather strip 7 is fixed to the door inner panel 2 at this weather strip mounting surface 6 with clips 8. The lower half 1b of the door outer panel 1 is connected to the door inner panel 1 at the angle portion 13 forming the side wall of the groove 12.
The weather strip is fixed by adhesive at a location extending to the weather strip mounting surface 6. The lower half 1 of the door outer panel 1
The upper edge of b is provided with an engaging portion 3 as in the conventional case and is adhesively fixed to the upper half portion 1a of the door outer panel 1.

Next, the effect will be explained. Rainwater, car wash water, etc. that have entered the door body are discharged from the drain hole 5 provided in the lower half 1 of the door outer panel made of synthetic resin.
Even if it is not completely discharged, rust will not occur because this part is made of synthetic resin.
In addition, the reaction force generated when the weather strip 7 closes the door is received by the door inner panel 2, which is made of a steel plate that is more rigid than the synthetic resin, so the load on the adhesive parts and the resin panel is reduced, and the rigidity of the door is reduced. and can maintain high durability. Furthermore, since the adhesive between the door inner panel 2 and the lower half 1b of the door outer panel is located above the lower edge of the lower half 1b of the door outer panel in the direction of the interior of the vehicle, even if the adhesive were to protrude, it would not be visible from the outside and would not be visible from the outside. There is no harm to it.

FIG. 2 is a diagram showing another embodiment of the present invention.
In this embodiment, the lower edge of the lower half 1b of the door outer panel is continuously formed into a generally U-shape, and the end thereof is adhesively fixed to the weather strip mounting surface 6 of the door inner panel 2.

In this embodiment, the same effects as those of the previous embodiment can be obtained, and the lower half 1b of the door outer panel can be easily formed. In the case where the branch is branched in the middle and extended to the weather strip mounting surface 6, when the lower half 1b is molded with synthetic resin, the branch part may be dented due to resin sink and the appearance quality may deteriorate. The advantage is that there is no such fear.

FIG. 3 is a diagram showing still another embodiment of the present invention, in which the mounting structure of the weather strip is devised. In both the embodiments shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a clip 8 is embedded in the weather strip 7 and fixed by inserting the clip 8 into a hole provided in the door inner panel 2, but in this embodiment shown in FIG. In this example, door inner panel 2
The end 11 of the door inner panel 2 is formed into a substantially U-shape, and a protrusion 10 is formed on the bottom surface of the door inner panel 2, and a weather strip 7 is fitted and fixed to the end 11 and the protrusion 10. be.

In the weather strip mounting structure shown in Figures 1 and 2, the clip 8 is required, and embedding the clip 8 is troublesome. In addition, the weather strip has to be hammered in with a plastic hammer or the like during installation, making the installation work difficult. However, with the weather strip mounting structure shown in FIG. 3, the mounting is easy and the cost can be reduced.

(Effects) As explained above, in the automobile door structure of the present invention, an angle part that defines a groove between the lowermost part of the door outer panel made of synthetic resin is integrally molded, and the side wall of the groove is The door inner panel is joined to the angle part that forms the door, and the weather strip is attached to the door inner panel at this point. This not only eliminates rust caused by rainwater and car wash water that enters the door body, but also prevents the weather strip from rusting. It can sufficiently withstand the generated reaction force and improves durability. In addition, even if the adhesive protrudes from the joint, it will not cause a problem in terms of appearance, so it can be easily bonded without having to control the adhesive area or the amount applied during application.Furthermore, the weather strip can be applied all the way around the steel plate door. Since it is fixed to the inner panel, the relative position with respect to the body can be ensured with high precision, and good sealing performance can be ensured.
