から前方若しくは後方に移動させて予定した編針
の停止位置を決定すると共に、前記編目を最終的
に予定の大きさに決定するようにしたので、特に
小さな編目を編成する場合でも、当初に述べた従
来のもののように編成した編目が大きく緩んだま
まになるというようなことはなく、予め調節設定
した所定の大きさの編目を確実に編成することが
できる。又、前記調節部材により針位置決め部材
を針後退部材の移動方向に位置調節して針後退部
材の停止位置を任意に変更できるため、1本引き
編成方式で大小いずれの大きさの編目を編成する
場合にも編目の大きさに狂いが生じないように適
確に対処できる。

せてその停止位置を決定する針位置決め部材38
と、その針位置決め部材38を前記針後退部材2
4の移動方向に位置調節して前記針後退部材24
の前記停止位置を編成編目の大小に応じて任意に
変更可能とさせる調節部材40とを備えたことを
