With air membrane structures, there are the following issues regarding snow accumulation. In other words, snowfall causes deformation of the structure, and the amount of snowfall can cause large deformations, which is a safety issue. For example, snowfall
Assuming that the snow is 1m thick, the snow load is approximately 200
The load is Kg/ m2 , and the structure must be supported with an internal pressure greater than this load, but it is an inherent problem in the structure that it is practically difficult to obtain such a large internal pressure. In order to solve these problems, snow melting measures must be taken in areas with heavy snowfall. Known methods for melting snow on membrane roofs include blowing hot air onto the inner surface of the membrane and embedding heating wires within the membrane material. However, although the former method is suitable for melting snow on the entire membrane roof, it is unsuitable for localized snow melting because the hot air reaches areas that do not require snow melting, from an economical point of view. However, the structure of the membrane material is complicated, membrane processing is troublesome, and maintenance is not easy.

In the present invention, a storage pocket is attached to at least one of the inner and outer surfaces of the roof membrane along this surface, and the planar heating element is stored in the storage pocket. The thickness of the storage pocket is made thin, and the surface of the planar heating element is brought into close contact with the roof membrane surface, increasing the effectiveness of melting ice and snow with excellent thermal efficiency. The planar heating element is constructed of flexible members to prevent the flexibility of the roof membrane from being impaired, and to smoothen the deformation of the roof membrane during inflation and deflation, as well as due to external loads such as wind. . The storage pocket is provided with an opening for taking out the planar heating element, and is also provided with a lid for opening and closing this opening. The mounting position of the storage pocket In other words, the position of the planar heating element is appropriately set in consideration of the snow melting effect, but it is preferable to set it on the inner surface of the membrane top or the inner surface of the trough for the following reasons. It is necessary for the snow on the top of the membrane to slide down to the valley side as much as possible, and even if this snow is small, it may dent the top of the membrane, and if this snow melts, there is a risk that water will accumulate there. Cut the snow off the top with a heating element. In addition, the valleys become snowdrifts, and melted water freezes, damaging the membrane and impairing the flexibility of the membrane in the valleys.

In FIG. 1, a roof membrane 1 is supported on cables 2 by means of cable clamps 3 and membrane supports 4, the points of support of the membrane being the troughs of the membrane. A storage pocket 5 of a predetermined length is attached along the cable 2 to the inner surface of the top of the roof membrane 1 and the inner surface of one side (inner side) of the valley. As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, this storage pocket has both sides and a rear end fixed to the roof membrane surface 1, and the opening at the tip is covered with a lid 5a. The lid body 5a can be attached to and detached from the pocket 5 with a hook and loop fastener. The material of the storage pocket 5 is the same as that of the roof membrane 1, and its thickness is thin. The mounting position of the storage pocket 5 may be provided on the outer inner surface of the valley in FIG. 1, or may be provided on both the inner and outer inner surfaces, and is not limited to the inner inner surface as in the above example. A planar heating element 6 is removably housed in the storage pocket 5. This heating element has electrode wires 6a, 6a sealed on both sides of a conductive synthetic resin plate serving as a heating element element, and a power wire 6b connected to the electrode wires extended outside the heating element. The heating element 6 is flexible and thin, and is inserted into the storage pocket 5 without any gaps. The planar heating element is not limited to the above examples, and suitable heating elements can be used, such as those in which heating wires are wired in a meandering manner between synthetic resin plates with high thermal conductivity, or those in which heating current circuits are laminated with plastic film in the shape of a sandwich. use

To attach the heating element 6, when the roof membrane 1 is teflated, the lid 5a is opened and the heating element 6 is inserted into the pocket from the opening of the storage pocket 5 as shown by the chain line in FIG. The heating element 6 may be stored in the pocket 5 after inflation.

As explained above, according to the present invention, since ice and snow are melted by a planar heating element, it is particularly suitable for melting ice and snow locally, and can be melted reliably and efficiently.
Since the storage pocket with the lid is simply fixed to the membrane material, the configuration of the membrane material is not complicated, and the sheet heating element is also removably housed, making installation and installation of the sheet heating element easy. This makes maintenance such as replacement easier. Furthermore, since the surface of the planar heating element is in close contact with the roof membrane surface, thermal efficiency is excellent and the effect of melting ice and snow is enhanced. In addition, since the planar heating element is made of a flexible member, it does not impair the flexibility of the roof membrane and smoothes the deformation of the roof membrane during inflation and deflation, as well as due to external loads such as wind. effective.
