The present invention relates to feed for feeding chicks 1 to 5 days after hatching. Traditionally, baby birds are fed between 1 and 5 days after hatching. It is known that chicks that take in a lot of feed during this feeding period and grow well will continue to grow steadily and become adult chickens with a large weight. by the way,
Up until now, the feed that has been given during this feeding period includes powdered, crumbled, and crumbled feed, but powdered feed is extremely difficult for chicks to ingest, resulting in poor growth and crumbled feed. The amount of feed that chicks consume is large, but it has the disadvantage that it often causes diarrhea, which seriously hinders their subsequent growth. In view of the importance of the above-mentioned feeding period in the development of chickens, the present inventors conducted intensive research to obtain feed for feeding that is easy for chickens to ingest and does not cause diarrhea. The present invention was completed by discovering that the desired feed can be obtained by crumbling feed materials with a diameter of 1.5 mm or less. The present invention is a feed for feeding chicks, characterized in that it consists of a crumble formed from a mixture of feed ingredients, such as grain flour, fish meal, fats and oils, and vitamins, with a particle size of 1.5 mm or less. Examples of the flour used in the present invention include those commonly used for raising chickens, such as corn flour, milo flour, soybean meal, and soybean flour. Similarly, fishmeal to be used includes Beiyo meal, trawl meal, and shipyard meal, and oils and fats to be used include tallow, soybean oil, and soybean meal.
Examples of the vitamins include rapeseed oil, vitamin C, pantothenic acid, nicotinic acid, biotin, and choline, all of which are commonly used as raw materials for chicken feed. Each of these feed ingredients is passed through a sieve with an opening of 1.5 mm, and the powder under the sieve is separated, containing 85-95% by weight of grain flour, 1-5% by weight of fish meal, 2-5% by weight of oil and fat, and 1-5% of vitamins. The mixture is mixed in a proportion of % by weight, and the mixture is crumbled by a conventional method to obtain the feeding feed of the present invention. As a convenient method, the feed for feeding of the present invention is prepared by mixing each feed ingredient in the above proportions before sieving, passing the resulting mixture through a sieve with an opening of 1.5 mm, and using the mixture under the sieve to crumble. It can also be prepared. Regardless of the method used, the particle size of the feed material mixture after sieving is 1.5 to 1.0 mm15 to 30 mm.
Weight%, less than 1.0mm ~ 0.5mm 50-70% by weight,
It is preferable that 15 to 30% by weight of the material be smaller than 0.5 mm. Furthermore, even better results can be obtained when the feeding feed of the present invention is used in the form of the crumb-formed product to which water is added in a proportion of 30 to 60% by weight. In this case, water is added, for example, by sprinkling water using water. In this case, it is preferable to water chickens at one day old near the upper limit of the water content, and from two days old onwards, water near the lower limit. Added amount of water is 60% by weight
If the amount exceeds 30% by weight, it is not preferable because the amount of feed intake decreases, and if the amount of water added is less than 30% by weight, no significant effect can be seen from the addition of water. The feeding feed of the present invention is easily ingested by chicks aged 1 to 5 days after hatching, and even when ingested in large quantities, it does not cause diarrhea and has the property of being easy to remove feces.
Therefore, if the feeding feed of the present invention is used during the feeding period, a high growth effect on the chickens can be obtained during the subsequent period until the chickens reach adulthood. EXAMPLES In order to demonstrate the present invention more specifically, examples will be given and explained below. Example 1 56.8 kg of corn flour, 27.4 kg of soybean meal, 5 kg of soybean flour, 5 kg of North Pacific meal, 3 kg of soybean oil and 3 kg of vitamins and minerals were each ground in advance to a particle size of 1.5 mm or less and mixed together. The obtained mixed powder was sieved through a sieve with openings of 1.5 mm, 1.0 mm, and 0.5 mm, and the powder under the sieve was collected to measure the particle size distribution. %, 1.0
70% by weight of less than mm ~ 0.5 mm, less than 0.5 mm
It was 15% by weight. Next, 62 ml of water was added to 1 kg of the obtained powder, which was then fed into a pellet machine to form pellets with a diameter of 3.2 mm and a length of 22 mm. The pellets were passed through a roll to be coarsely crushed to obtain crumbled feed (particle size of crumbles: 0.84 to 3.4 mm). 1 kg of the crumbled feed was sprinkled with 500 ml of water to obtain a wet crumbled feed. For comparison, each of the above-mentioned feed ingredients was ground and mixed in advance to a particle size of 2 mm or less, and the resulting mixed powder was 2 mm, 16 mm, 1.0 mm, and 0.5 mm.
When examining the particle size distribution through a sieve with a mesh size of
It contained 50% by weight and 10% by weight of particles smaller than 0.5 mm. Next, using 1 kg of the powdered feed described above, a crumbled feed was obtained by the method described above. Further, 1 kg of this crumbled feed was sprinkled with 500 ml of water to obtain a wet crumbled feed. Next, Arbor Acre chicken (1 day old)
Five plots of 80 birds were prepared in each plot, and each plot was fed each of the five types of feed obtained above for five days. Thereafter, the same chicken feed was fed to each group and the chickens were raised until they were 3 weeks old. Average weight per bird at the start of feeding and at 3 weeks of age in each area, average weight gain and average feed intake per bird between the start of feeding and 3 weeks of age, feed conversion ratio (for 1g increase in body weight) Table 1 below shows the number of grams of feed required and the average amount of water consumed per bird up to 7 days of age.
Shown below.

[Table] From the results in Table 1, it can be seen that when chicks are fed using the feeding feed of the present invention, the chicks are fed well and their subsequent growth is also good. . Example 2 48.0 kg of corn flour, 11.3 kg of milo flour, 32.4 kg of soybean meal, 2 kg of northern meal, 3.4 kg of tallow, and 3 kg of vitamins and minerals were mixed. The resulting mixture was passed through a sieve with an opening of 1.2 mm, and the powder under the sieve was collected (20% by weight of particles with a particle size of 1.2 to 1.0 mm, 60% by weight of particles with a particle size of less than 1.0 to 0.5 mm, and 60% by weight of particles with a particle size of less than 0.5 mm. (contains 20% by weight). This feed was crumbled in the same manner as in Example 1 to obtain a mixed feed for feeding.
