DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION <Industrial Application Field> The present invention relates to an improved paving method that prevents the formation of a level difference between the manhole cover surface and the road surface and the generation of cracks in the surrounding road surface.

<Prior art> As shown in FIG. 7, in the past, the manhole cover 1 and the road surface pavement 2 were at the same height, and the manhole cover 1 was placed on a neck wrap block buried underground as shown in FIG. 3. It was supported by a lid height adjustment block 4. Since the manhole cover 1 is made of a solid material such as cast metal, the wear caused by passing vehicles is extremely small compared to asphalt, etc., which is the road surface pavement 2. Therefore, there is no space between the manhole cover 1 and the surrounding road surface. There was a difference in level. Therefore, in order to match the heights of the road surface and the lid surface, it was necessary to repeatedly adjust the height using the lid height adjustment block 4. Additionally, due to the difference in supporting capacity between the area around the manhole cover and the roadbed, cracks had appeared in the asphalt directly above Nemaki Block 3. As described above, in the past, the area around the manhole cover was prone to having steps and cracks.

The purpose of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems such as manhole cover height adjustment work, collision of the shovel blade of a snowplow with a step, and damage to the road surface around the manhole, reduce costs for the cover height adjustment work, and improve the safety of passing vehicles. Another object of the present invention is to provide a method of paving the area around a manhole cover, which can maintain a good condition of the road.

<Means for solving the problem> The configuration according to the first invention of the present application that achieves such an object lowers the manhole cover from the road surface and tightly attaches a ring-shaped cushioning material made of rubber or the like to the periphery of the upper surface of the manhole cover. The cushioning material is sandwiched between the inner and outer peripheries with iron rings lower than the height of the cushioning material, and the lower part of the iron ring is welded and fixed to the manhole cover, and then the inside of the cushioning material is , is characterized by embedding paving material on the outside at the same height as the road surface.

The structure according to the second invention of the present application which achieves the above object is to lower the manhole cover from the road surface, adhere a disk-shaped cushioning material such as rubber to the entire upper surface of the manhole cover, and then adhere the cushioning material to the top surface of the manhole cover. It is characterized by embedding paving material on the outside at the same height as the road surface.

<Function> The ring-shaped or disk-shaped cushioning material that is closely attached to the manhole cover not only damps vibrations caused by passing vehicles, but also wears out to the same extent as the paving material. Therefore, when the paving material is worn down by vehicles passing through it, the cushioning material is also worn to the same extent, and there is no difference in level between them.

An embodiment of the first invention of the present application is shown in FIGS. 1 to 3. First, one stage of the cover height adjustment block 4 installed on the manhole body 11 is removed, and the manhole cover 1 is lowered from the road surface. Next, a bituminous stabilizing material 8 is spread directly above the lid height adjustment block 4 and the neck wrapping block 3 so that the pressure from the road surface becomes uniform around the manhole and on the roadbed. This is to prevent cracks in the paving material. On the other hand, a ring-shaped buffer material 5 is tightly fixed to the periphery of the upper surface of the manhole cover 1. The cushioning material 5 is made of special rubber, such as chloroprene rubber, and even if a vehicle passes over it,
To prevent a manhole cover 1 from ringing by damping vibrations. Further, the cushioning material 5 is made of special rubber or the like that wears to the same extent as the paving material 2, and does not create a difference in level between it and the road surface. Two keyholes 10 are bored in the cushioning material 5, and the keyholes 1
0 goes directly through the manhole keyhole. This keyhole 1
The manhole cover 1 and the buffer material 5 can be moved by inserting a wire rope with a key attached to the manhole cover 0 and lifting it up. Normally, a plug 9 made of the same material as the cushioning material 5 is fitted into the keyhole 10 to prevent mud and water from entering through the keyhole 10. The stopper 9 can be removed using a wine corkscrew, for example. Although the stopper 9 and the keyhole 10 are columnar or cylindrical in the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, they are not limited to this. For example, as in another embodiment shown in FIG. The keyhole 20 may have a rectangular cylindrical shape. On the other hand, iron rings 6 and 7, which are lower in height than the cushioning material 5, are arranged inside and outside the cushioning material 5, and sandwich the cushioning material 5 from the inside and the outer periphery. The lower parts of the iron rings 6 and 7 are welded to the manhole cover 1, and the outer iron ring 7 has the same diameter as the outermost circumference of the manhole cover 1. iron ring 6,7
The height shall be such that it will not protrude even if the road surface wears until the time of overlay. In this way, the iron ring 6,
7, the buffer material 5 is integrated with the manhole cover 1, making it easy to open and close the cover.

After this, the paving material 2' is placed inside and outside the cushioning material 5.
2 is buried at the same height as the road surface. Since the inside of the cushioning material 5 has a tapered surface inclined toward the inner diameter, the paving material 2' inside the cushioning material 5 is integrated with the cushioning material 5. Note that filling the inside of the cushioning material 5 with the paving material 2' may be done in advance. For example, after welding the iron rings 6 and 7 to the manhole cover 1, the cushioning material 5 is inserted between the iron rings 6 and 7, and then the paving material 2' is filled inside the cushioning material 5, and then the wire is connected to the manhole key. It is also possible to hang the manhole cover 1 and the buffer material 5 together with a rope and hang it down to the manhole, and then bury the surrounding paving material 2.

When the area around the manhole is paved in this way, the vibrations caused by vehicle traffic are absorbed by the buffer material 5, which prevents the lid from ringing, and the pressure from the road surface is evened out by the bituminous stabilized material 8. This prevents cracks from forming. Furthermore, since the paving materials 2, 2' and the cushioning material 5 are subject to the same amount of wear due to vehicle traffic, no difference in level occurs between them as shown in FIG. Therefore, not only is there no need for manhole cover height adjustment work, but also collisions with snowplow shovel blades do not occur.

Incidentally, after the road surface is worn out, an overlay is applied as shown in FIG. In this case, roughly adjust the height of the cushioning material 5 by replacing it with one that matches the height of the cushioning material 5 so that the area around the manhole cover is slightly level with the road surface.
Insert and fine-tune. Cushioning material 5, spacer 12
Prepare various types with different heights and use adhesive to prevent them from coming apart easily. If many types of cushioning materials 5 are prepared, the spacers 12 are not necessarily required.

As shown in FIG. 5, a disc-shaped cushioning material 5 is tightly attached to the entire upper surface of the manhole cover 1, and this cushioning material 5 is adhered to the manhole cover 1 with an adhesive so that it does not easily come off. This embodiment is the same as the embodiment described above except that 7 and the paving material 2' are omitted. This embodiment has the advantage of being easier to construct than the previously described embodiments because the paving material 2' inside the cushioning material 5 is not required. Figure 6 is a cross-sectional view showing the overlay construction after wear, and for fine adjustment, the cushioning material 5

In this embodiment, similar to the above-mentioned embodiments, it is possible to prevent the lid from ringing and cracking, and to flatten the peripheral area. In the above invention, the manhole cover may be used for communication manholes, water/sewage systems, gas,
Electric manhole covers can also be used, and it can also be applied to small covers that cannot be accessed by people, such as water control valve covers.
