る。[Detailed explanation of the invention] ...Industrial fields of application This invention consists of an elastic core made of synthetic fiber with an elastic recovery rate of 100% in the center of a thick layer of the main material cotton, which is made of natural fiber and has excellent moisture absorption. Regarding composite cotton for mattresses, which is constructed by intervening materials, the thickness of the main cotton material is increased by an amount corresponding to the decrease in bulk and stiffness caused by use for a certain period of time. It is characterized by the fact that it is made thicker in advance, and by taking advantage of the conventional drawbacks of natural fibers, such as sagging and stiffening, we have created an extremely healthy and well-constructed composite for mattresses. It provides cotton.

Although natural fibers such as hair have excellent moisture absorption, humidity control, and heat retention properties, their biggest drawback is the so-called sagging phenomenon, such as a decrease in elastic recovery rate and a decrease in bulk due to use. Efforts have been made only towards this, and in order to supplement the elastic recovery power, synthetic fibers are mixed, and natural and synthetic fiber layers are used in a polymerized laminated structure. In both cases, it has been best to make the entire mattress have a strong elastic recovery power so that it can be used for a long time without any change in bulk, so it is necessary to improve the moisture absorption properties of natural fibers. A compromise has to be made between ensuring the elasticity of synthetic fibers and the elastic recovery power of synthetic fibers.
The resulting product was mediocre in terms of both hygroscopicity and elastic recovery.

とされる。(2) In other words, since products that place emphasis on hygroscopicity are mainly made of natural fibers, they will naturally sag after long-term use, making them too thin to be used as a mattress, and making them unusable. Products that place emphasis on resilience are mainly synthetic fibers, so they do not sag even after long-term use and have the necessary elasticity and bulk, but they lack moisture absorption from the beginning. , it is not healthy to use as a mattress, in other words, if it is too soft and has no waist, it will partially fall down and cause damage to the spine,
It has a negative effect on the lower back, etc., and is not suitable for young people, especially those who are still in their developmental stages, as it has no hygroscopicity even though their metabolism is active during sleep. is said to be good for health.

From a health perspective, it is especially important to have something that promotes the healthy development of the spine in young people, and that does not cause the spine and lower back pain in adults and the elderly because it is too soft and partially collapses. It has been requested.

From the viewpoint of The company focused on the so-called ``Senbei Futon,'' a type of mattress made of natural cotton that becomes ``hardened'' with use.

It is hard and thin as a whole, and it feels hard against the body all over, so there is little local deterioration due to weight, but because it is thin, it does not feel as hard as tatami mats etc. However, if you use this hard mattress on a urethane mat or bed spring mat, it will feel good against your body, and there will be less localized depression, making it very comfortable. Many people have experienced the fact that it has good texture and has excellent moisture absorption properties because it is a natural fiber.

By taking advantage of the sagging and stiffening of natural fibers, we have developed a composite cotton for mattresses that is extremely healthy and has good texture.

である。...Means for solving the problem That is, the present invention uses natural fibers such as cotton, linen, palm fiber, kapoku fiber, hair, silk, and feathers, which have excellent hygroscopicity, moisture control properties, and heat retention properties. The main material for mattresses is cotton a, which is prepared by rolling out one or a mixture of two or more of plant-based or animal-based fibers, while melting them at relatively low heat into various types of heat-resistant, high-melting-point fibers. It is obtained by high heat treatment of various synthetic fibers to be bonded, mixed in appropriate proportions and spread into a cotton-like form. The fibers in an entangled and crimped state are melted and integrated to form a sponge-like product with an elastic recovery rate of 100%. (according to JIS L2001 standard) is separately provided as elastic core material b, and composite cotton A for mattresses is constructed by appropriately interposing elastic core material b in the center of a thick layer of main cotton material a, The composite cotton A for mattresses is made thicker in advance by the amount of the decrease in the thickness of the main material cotton A in anticipation of a decrease in the thickness due to bulkiness and stiffness due to use for a certain period of time. This problem has been solved by using composite cotton for mattresses, which is characterized by the following characteristics.

製したものである。Examples Examples of the present invention will be described below. The above mixture is rolled into a cotton form to provide the main material cotton a for a mattress, while various heat-resistant and high melting point fibers, such as synthetic fibers such as polyester fibers, polyamide fibers, and polyacrylic fibers, or rayon fibers, Alternatively, various synthetic fibers, such as polyethylene fibers, polypropylene fibers or processed fibers thereof, processed polyester fibers, etc., can be melted and bonded at relatively low heat to one or a mixture of various fibers such as cotton. Mix 20-30% inside and outside and heat it to 140℃
The fibers in the entangled and crimped state obtained by heat treatment at high temperatures are fused together to form a sponge-like structure with an elastic recovery rate of 100% (JIS
L2001 standard) is provided separately as elastic core material b, and the elastic core material b is placed in the center of the thick layer of the main cotton material a.
For example, the main material cotton a is wrapped around the elastic core material b to a predetermined thickness (Fig. 1), and the composite cotton A for the mattress is provided. Composite cotton A is used for a certain period of time (6 months ~
Dimensions of elastic core material b after 1 year) use l 1
is almost constant, while the dimension l2 of the main material cotton a decreases by 30 to 50% due to the bulk and warp caused by use.
Assuming that the dimension after reduction is l' 1 , the thickness dimension of composite cotton A for mattresses is l 1 + 2l' 2 ,
Within the thickness dimension range required for a mattress (approximately 8 to 15
cm), the thickness dimension l 1 + 2l 2 at the time of manufacture is set in advance in anticipation of the reduction in dimension, and after a certain period of use, the appropriate dimension l′ 2 , hardness and elasticity of the mattress is determined. The mattress is made of composite cotton that can be used continuously for a long period of time in the proper condition.

であつた。(3) Natural fiber mattresses have particularly excellent moisture absorption, moisture control, and heat retention properties, but with continued use for 6 months to 1 year, body weight, body temperature, and moisture (sweat, etc.)
As a result of the repeated pressing action, the thickness of the cloth decreases considerably, and the cloth becomes hard and bulky as a whole (it becomes a so-called senbei futon).
According to the results of various surveys and experiments, the thickness of a 100 mm thick futon after 6 months to 1 year of use is: Cotton: 60 mm or less (i.e., 40% reduction in inner and outer thickness) Linen: 50 mm or less (i.e., Wool: 70mm (i.e., 30% decrease from inside and outside) Silk: 50mm (i.e., 50% decrease from inside and outside)).

When setting 2l' 2 = 110mm (however, the main material cotton a is 100% cotton) l 1 = 50mm l 2 = 50mm...upper and lower layers 2l 2 = 100mm Therefore, the initial thickness dimension, l 1 + 2l 2 = 150mm composite composition, main material cotton a after 6 months to 1 year use
Assuming that the volume reduction is 40%, l 1 = 50 mm...constant l' 2 = 30 mm Therefore, the dimension after volume reduction is l 1 + 2' 2 = 110 mm, and a bulky composite mattress with a thickness of 110 mm is obtained. The mattress does not change much after that, and has excellent moisture absorbency, humidity control, and heat retention (main cotton material a), as well as elastic recovery power (elastic core material b), making it comfortable to touch the body. The result is a healthy mattress that is hard, has little localized fallout, and has adequate cushioning properties overall, and can be used for many years.

For example, flat bags made of suitable woven or non-woven fabric (such as duvet covers) are sewn into grid-like partitions, and each partition bag is filled with rolled cotton to prevent unevenness. The material is wrapped and sewn so as not to form any bubbles, and then it is layered on the circumferential surface of the elastic core material b, or on both upper and lower surfaces, or on one side, to make a composite cotton for a mattress.

The composite cotton for mattresses is made by layering the core material b on the circumference, on both upper and lower surfaces, or on one side.

In this way, we can make use of the characteristics of both in a composite manner, and cover the shortcomings of both, and in particular, take advantage of the "bulkness" of natural fiber cotton due to its use, and turn that shortcoming into an effective one. In this case, when the mattress is first manufactured, it is constructed to be bulky in anticipation of the volume loss due to use, and after a certain period of use, it can be used for a long period of time in substantially the same state (thickness, hardness, elasticity, etc.) as the mattress intended by the present invention. It is designed to be comfortable to use over a long period of time, and therefore has a great effect on health, particularly as it can provide an optimal mattress for young people in their growing stage.
