機器の型式や塗装色等の仕様データを車両に付す
車体番号を索引データとして車両ごとにインプツ
トし、この仕様データをプリントアウトした生産
指示カードを車両ごとに発行して、該カードに記
載された仕様に従つて塗装や艤装を行うようにし
ているが、作業車が生産指示カードの発行先を間
違えたり、仕様内容を読み間違えたりして、車両
の仕様が設定された仕様と異つてしまうことがあ
り、そこで検査員が車両に付された車体番号と、
エンジン等の車両搭載機器に付された型式番号等
の仕様を表す仕様標識とを見て、車両の実際の仕
様が設定された仕様通りであるか否かの検査を行
うようにしている。

付けたロボツトと、該視覚センサからのデータを
読取るアイリーダと、車両ごとに発行される検査
成績カードに記入された各種検査データを読取る
カードリーダと、該アイリーダと該カードリーダ
とからのデータを入力し、該視覚センサで視認さ
れた仕様標識が識別番号に応じて予め設定される
仕様通りの標識か否かの判定と、各種検査データ
が規格を満しているか否かの判定とを行う判定装
置と、該判定装置の判定結果を表示する表示器と
から成る。
