〔発明の属する技術分野〕
この発明は高温高圧過熱蒸気ラインの蒸気配管
途中に設置され、配管を通つてタービンへ流入す
る蒸気中の不純物を取り除くためのエレメントを
内蔵しているストレーナにおけるケーシングのエ
レメント挿入用開口部の蒸気シール構造などいわ

ツキンは高圧、高温に耐えなければならないので
従来はくさび形状に成形した金属パツキンが用い
られた。長所はくさび形状部に応力が集中するの
で封止性能は良いが、金属製であるため次に述べ
る欠点がある。

示している。図において1はケーシングで配管接
続用開口部1a,1bに蒸気配管が接続されて高
温、高圧過熱蒸気ラインの配管途中に配設され
る。ケーシング1内部には配管を通る蒸気中の不
純物を取除くためのエレメント2を内蔵してい
る。このエレメント2は蓋3に固定されて、ケー
シング1のエレメント挿入用開口部1cから内挿
され、この部分の蒸気シールのために後述する円
環板状のグラフアイトパツキン4の両面を円環板
状のセミメタリツクパツキン5で挾み込み組合わ
せて取付け、押えリング6を介してセグメントリ
ング7により押圧されている。蓋3の端面にはス
タツドボルト8が植え込まれており、このスタツ
ドボルト8を開口部1c先端に取付けられたひか
りリング9に貫通させてナツト10で締付けるこ
とによりセミメタリツクパツキン5に初期軸方向
締付面圧を与え半径方向へ伝達されセミメタリツ
クパツキン5が相手金属になじむようにされてい
る。このセミメタリツクパツキン5は第3図に示
すように石綿と耐熱減摩剤を混和成形した芯5a
の外周に金属綿入に石綿糸よりなる二重袋編5a
し表面を黒鉛で焼付処理したものである。セミメ
タリツクパツキン5は表面が丸編みのため緻密で
基本的に面圧分布の良い表面構造をなしている。
加えて中心部には石綿と耐熱減摩剤とを混和成形
した芯4aがあるので、丁度ゴムチユーブの中の
空気のように軸方向の締付力を均一に半径方向へ
伝達する。そのため部分的に空隙や密度不均一が
生じにくく、シール特性がよくなる。このセミメ
タリツクパツキン5に挾まれたグラフアイトパツ
キン4は第4図に示すような円環板状のもので、
相手とのなじみが良く高温での体積減少がないた
め安定したシール性能を発揮するが塑性流動する
ため前述したようにセミメタリツクパツキン5を
上下より挾み配置される。

A tightening surface pressure is applied and transmitted in the radial direction so that the semi-metallic packing 5 conforms to the mating metal. The surface has been baked with graphite. The surface of the semi-metallic packing 5 is circular knitted, so it is dense and basically has a surface structure with good surface pressure distribution.
In addition, since there is a core 4a in the center formed by mixing and molding asbestos and a heat-resistant lubricant, the axial tightening force is uniformly transmitted in the radial direction, just like air in a rubber tube. Therefore, voids and non-uniform density are less likely to occur locally, resulting in better sealing properties. The graphite packing 4 sandwiched between the semi-metallic packing 5 is in the shape of an annular plate as shown in FIG.
It has good compatibility with the mating material and does not decrease in volume at high temperatures, so it exhibits stable sealing performance, but since it undergoes plastic flow, the semi-metallic packing 5 is sandwiched between the top and bottom as described above.

てパツキンを締付けているスタツドボルト8、ナ
ツト10、ひかえリング9の間に隙間を生ずる。
そしてケーシング1内に充満している高圧の蒸気
力が無くなつた時にはスタツドボルト、ナツトに
よるパツキンの締付け力が得られなくなる。その
ため初通気後に一度ナツトの増締めを行なつてパ
ツキンの締付面圧を初期状態にする。この時過大
な締付力を与えると蒸気力が無くなつた時パツキ
ン締付面圧の反力+スタツドボルト締付力がスタ
ツドボルトへ作用するので増締めの際は初期締付
力の10%程度とするなどの注意を払う必要があ

体積減量が大きく、これだけではシール効果に難
点があるのでセミメタリツクパツキンの中間に、
高温での体積減少が少なく、気密性能の良いグラ
フアイトパツキンを組込んだのでより気密性能の
向上がはかれる。
