Blood pressure measurement is necessary depending on the condition of the body and periodically to check changes in blood pressure and monitor the state of health.
If these checks were to be carried out by going to the hospital one by one, it would be extremely burdensome both in terms of time and money, not only for the sick and injured but also for the healthy people. On the other hand, since blood pressure measurement can be carried out relatively easily even by amateurs, recently, blood pressure measuring devices that can be easily used at home have been developed and are commercially available.

However, this type of general home blood pressure measuring device currently disclosed, like the conventional blood pressure measuring device used in hospitals, has a rubber air bag called a mansiet wrapped around the upper arm, and is placed above the brachial artery. Blood pressure is measured with a blood flow sound detector applied to the blood pressure. That is, it is a method in which the brachial artery is temporarily occluded by sending air into the air bag using a feeding tool, and then the pressure inside the air bag is temporarily lowered, and the sound of blood flow is detected.
While the blood flow sound is being detected, this is compared with the display sound or display light and the pressure meter reading.
The systolic and diastolic blood pressures are now checked.

With conventional blood pressure measuring devices, the device is large and inconvenient to carry, and it is extremely troublesome to wrap the sleeve around the upper arm. It was also difficult to measure blood pressure accurately. In addition, if you are wearing long-sleeved clothing because the manchette is wrapped around your upper arm, the defect may be compressed by the sleeves of the rolled-up clothing, which also makes accurate blood pressure measurements difficult. There were some problems, such as the fact that there were cases where the device could not be used.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention has a spherical structure made of a flexible elastic material capable of restoring its original shape, and has a ventilation opening connected to a pressure receiving part of a pressure meter of a blood pressure monitor. The gist of the present invention is a blood pressure measuring device characterized by having a hollow spherical cross-sectional shape with a size corresponding to the thickness of an arterial blood vessel.

As shown in the drawings, the blood pressure measurement head of the present invention configured as described above is used by being installed in the pressure receiving part or pressure sensor part of a pressure meter that displays the pressure caused by the introduced gas by a mercury column display, a pointer (analog) display, or a digital display. However, since it is made of a flexible elastic material that can restore its original shape, has a hollow shape corresponding to the thickness of the blood vessel to be measured, and is connected under normal pressure, Changes in compression pressure within the measuring tip are accurately and sensitively transmitted to the pressure gauge, and the blood pressure measuring tip can be accurately pressed and compressed against the outside of the blood vessel. occluding the artery by compressing the radial artery or other blood vessel to be measured, and then detecting blood flow sound with a blood flow sound detector while gradually relaxing the compressive force on the blood pressure measurement probe;
The detected blood flow sound is changed into a display means such as a buzzer to notify the user of the systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure.

FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of a blood pressure measuring probe 2 of the present invention, showing an example in which a soft rubber membrane is used as an elastic material capable of restoring its original shape. This has a hollow spherical shape that is slightly larger than the diameter of the blood vessel to be measured (for example, the diameter of the radial artery is about 10 mm), and has a gas introduction part that is airtightly connected to the pressure receiving part of the pressure meter P at one end at normal pressure. 1.

FIG. 2 is a diagram in which the measuring head 2 of the present invention is installed in a Tycos type blood pressure monitor, in which the pointer 3 is set at 0 at normal pressure.
FIG. 3 shows the deformation of the measuring element 2 and the change of the pointer 3 when the blood pressure monitor is pressed from the side wall of the blood vessel to be measured.

FIG. 4 is an overall view of an electrical blood pressure monitor A equipped with a measuring head 2, which includes an electrical pressure sensor 6, an electronic amount changing section 7, and a pressure display section 8. Measuring head 2
is detachably connected to the gas inlet 1. Therefore, by applying pressure to the probe 2 to deform it, pressure is applied to the electrical pressure sensor 6 through the gas inlet 1, and the pressure is displayed on the pressure display section 8 in digital or analog form. This method is not particularly limited as long as it is a known method.

Reference numeral 4 denotes a blood flow sound detector (microphone) attached to the tip of the measuring tip 2, which detects the systolic blood pressure when the blood vessel compressed by the measuring tip 2 is occluded and then the compression is gradually weakened. The device detects the blood flow sound between the time and the lowest blood pressure time, and outputs an electrical signal while the blood flow sound is generated. This output is sensed by the output line and displayed on the blood flow sound display section 5 by sound or flashing light.

As is clear from the above description, according to the measuring tip of the present invention, blood pressure can be easily measured by simply applying the measuring tip made of a flexible elastic material to the side wall of a blood vessel and operating it. It is possible to measure blood pressure in blood vessels throughout the body with a small device, without requiring a conventional manchet (a rubber band wrapped around the upper arm). However, it is easy to measure blood pressure. In addition, blood vessel compression and blood flow sound measurement can be performed in a narrow range, and blood pressure can be measured near the wrist, making it possible to measure blood pressure near the upper arm. There is no longer any pressure on the blood vessels due to the sleeves of the costume being worn up, and there are no cases where blood pressure cannot be measured accurately.
