その進行方向に対し横方向(左右方向)に屈曲自
在に構成されており、後述する容器搬送用スラツ
トコンベヤ23a,23bガイド28a,28b
を介して送られてくる容器(びん)20を両無端
チエーン24a,24b間に送り込み易くするた
めと、回転テーブル26a,26b,26c,2
6d等を配置するためとから、図示を省略したガ
イドローラを介して他方の無端チエーン24aと
の間隔を大きくしている(第6図、第7図参照)。
また容器搬送用スラツトコンベヤ23a,23b
は、上記スプロケツト22a,22bの間に第6
図及び第7図に示すように無端状に張設され、容
器把持装置24の2組の相対する無端チエーン2
4a,24bにより把持された容器20に底部を
支持するとともに、駆動スプロケツト22aによ
り駆動されて、容器20を搬送するようになつて
いる。また第7図の29a,29bは図示を省略
した駆動手段により駆動される容器給排スラツト
コンベヤ、26a,26b,26c,26dは図
示のように配設された回転テーブル、28a,2
8b,28c,28dは容器ガイドで、容器給排
スラコツトコンベヤ29a,29bにより容器ガ
イド28a,28bに矢印イ,ロ方向から送り込
まれた容器20が回転テーブル26a,26bを
介して2系列の容器把持装置24の相対する2組
の無端チエーン24a,24bの間へ正立姿勢で
送り込まれて、容器搬送用スラツトコンベヤ23
a,23bにより搬送され、同容器搬送用スラツ
トコンベヤ23a,23bが第6図に示すように
駆動スプロケツト22aに沿つて走行する間に、
容器20が倒立姿勢になり、その姿勢のまゝ従動
スプロケツト22bに達し、その間に、図示を省
略した多数の噴射ノズルから噴射される水流によ
り容器20が洗浄されるようになつている。そし
て洗浄を終つた容器20は、従動スプロケツト2
2bに沿つた容器搬送用スラツトコンベヤ23
a,23bが回る間に正立姿勢になり、容器ガイ
ド28a,28d回転テーブル26c,26dを
介して容器給排スラコツトコンベヤ29a,29
bに達し、同コンベヤ29a,29bにより矢印
ニ,ハ方向の機外へ排出されるようになつてい
る。第8図及び第9図において、30は横断面形
状が中空のD形(第9図参照)の弾性体で、同強
性体30が取付部材31を介して上記無端チエー
ン24a,24bの相対するリンクの側面に固定
された多数のグリツパ用基板(プレート)32に
それぞれ固着されている。

トコンベヤ29a,29bにより機外へ排出され

る。なお上記可撓性部材42は、容器の種類
(缶、壜等)に応じて変形するようになつている。
即ち、搬送対称容器が第1図のように缶44の場
合には、第2図の実線のように変形し、びんの場
合には、二点鎖線のように変形する。このとき、
同可撓性部材42は、リブ43に当接して、びん
を確実に把持する。また同可撓性部材42は、容
器把持装置が第6図に示したスプロケツト22
a,22bのところ180°反転するときのスプロケ
ツト22a,22bに対する干渉を避けるため
に、下半分の幅が第5図のように軽減している。
また第3図は、グリツパ用基板32側の基部41
からの可撓性部材42に向けて突出形成されたリ
ブ43と、可撓性部材42から上記基部41に向
けて突出形成されたリブ45とを有する他の実施
