に伴なう鑿岩機や堀削機の爪等で管本体が局部的
に破損されて偏平変形を起したり、また、局部的
に内側に窪むなどの不良個所が出現し、空の地下
管路に対して、新たにケーブルを引込む場合、ケ
ーブルの引込みが不能になる等の不都合があつ
た。

ロツド3の後端にはハンマヘツド5があり、上記
ハンマヘツド5とシリンダ4の前端壁との間には
圧縮コイルスプリング6が介装してある。上記シ
リンダ4内にはピストン7が摺動自在に嵌挿して
あり、シリンダ4の後端からは、上記シリンダ4
内に、耐圧ホース8を介してコンプレツサ9から
例えば7Kg/cm2程度の圧搾空気が供給できるよう
になつている。なお上記シリンダ4内に加えられ
た圧搾空気は、シリンダ4前端の空隙から外部に
漏出されるようになつている。また上記シリンダ
4の後部外周には、器具を既設管内の中心に保持
するための保持具としてゴムカラー10が取付け
られている。
このような構成の器具を、第2図ないし第4図
にみられるように、地下管路A内に挿通するため
地下管路Aの1区間であるマンホールB,C間に
ついて、一方のマンホールBから上記牽引用ワイ
ヤ2を他方のマンホールCに挿通させる。しかし
て反対側マンホールCからワイヤ2を取出しウイ
ンチ11などで牽引すると、上記器具は、マンホ
ールBより地下管路A中に導入される。
例えば第3図のような局部変形状態の不良個所
にくると、推進ヘツド1は内部膨出部分Xに当つ
てその進行を妨げられる。この時、コンプレツサ
9より耐圧ホース8を介して圧搾空気がシリンダ
4内に供給され、ピストン7はハンマヘツド5を
叩打する。これによつて衝撃力が推進ヘツド1に
加わり、そのテーパ面で内部膨出部分Xを外側に
押し拡げる。この叩打の繰返しにより、強制的に
上記内部膨出部分Xを矯正して、推進ヘツド1を
挿通させるのである。偏平変形の部分も同様にし
て矯正する。
また第4図のように、段違い状態の管継手部の
不良個所については、上述のような推進ヘツド1
への叩打作用で、平行状態に矯正される。
