《Prior art》 Many facilities are already known that treat sewage by sewage, and among these, methods using floating contact filter media are particularly excellent because they also utilize the purifying action of microorganisms (e.g. Special Public Service 1977-
44953 and 63-119).

On the other hand, conventional methods for removing foam generated in sewage treatment facilities include a method in which the generated foam is sucked and removed through a gas-liquid suction pipe opened near the water surface of the sewage treatment tank, or The method used was to dispose of foam by placing a water sprinkler on the water surface and spraying water on the water surface. However, since the former method only moves the bubbles, it is not an essential solution and ultimately requires a separate anti-foam treatment facility. Although it is effective against small bubbles, it is difficult to eliminate foam completely and has the drawbacks of high maintenance and management costs.

<<Problems to be Solved by the Invention>> As a result of intensive studies in order to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks, the present inventors have found that by placing a nonwoven fabric on a filter bed made of a floating contact filter medium, it is possible to solve the problem, especially in other defoaming devices. The present invention was achieved by discovering that large and small bubbles generated in a bubble tank can be easily defoamed without using a bubble.

<Means for Solving the Problems> The above object of the present invention is to
A filter bed made of the following floating contact filter media is formed, a nonwoven fabric is placed on the filter bed, and air is blown from the bottom of the sewage treatment tank through an aeration device placed in the sewage treatment tank to form a filter bed on the sewage surface. This was achieved by a method of defoaming foam in a sewage treatment tank, which is characterized by eliminating the foam generated.

Reference numeral 5 is a diffuser. The air diffuser 5 purifies the wastewater by making it aerobic by supplying oxygen to the wastewater. In this case, the amount of air during aeration,
If the floating contact filter medium 2 is converged on one side of the sewage treatment tank by adjusting the speed or angle, etc., as shown in the figure, an open water surface can be formed in the area where the air diffuser 5 is installed, making maintenance management easier. The work can be done in good condition.

《Function》 Organic matter generated by the decomposition of sewage and sludge adheres to the surface of the floating contact filter medium 2, and microorganisms effective in purifying sewage and sludge proliferate, resulting in extremely high purification efficiency. . Further, bubbles generated by decomposed gas or diffused air generated during purification are easily defoamed while passing through the nonwoven fabric.

<<Effects of the Invention>> As detailed above, the method for defoaming foam in a sewage treatment tank according to the present invention only involves placing a nonwoven fabric on a floating contact filter medium, which eliminates the defoaming method used in conventional sewage treatment methods. It is cheaper than the foam method and much easier to install and maintain.
