本発明は汚水処理槽内に発生する泡の消泡方法
に関し、特に浮上接触濾材を用いたバツキ処理施

た泡を吸引し除去する方法又は、汚水処理槽の水
面上に散水装置を配して水面に散水を行うことに
より泡を消泡する方法によつていた。しかしなが
ら前者の方法は泡を移動させるのみであるので本
質的な解決策とはならず、結局消泡処理施設を別
途必要とするという不都合がある一方、後者の方
法では、気泡の大きな泡に対しては効果があるも
のの気泡の小さな泡に対しては効果が少なく、完
全に消泡を行うことは困難である上維持管理費が

置を用いなくてもバツキ槽内で発生する大小の泡
を容易に消泡することができることを見出し本発
