As skin patches, plasters containing drugs such as anti-inflammatory analgesics (hereinafter simply referred to as plasters) and patches made of a sheet-like base fabric coated or impregnated with cosmetic liquid are generally known. In recent years, as a fibrous base material suitable for the base fabric of such patches, non-woven fabrics obtained by needling fiber aggregates made of synthetic fibers, etc., have been increasingly used instead of the conventional base fabrics made of cotton flannelette. It has come to be used. This non-woven base fabric is cheaper than flannelette and has a soft texture that blends well with the skin, so it has recently become particularly popular as a suitable material.

The base fabric for patches made of this nonwoven fabric is required to have dimensional stability that can withstand the stress applied during plaster application. All or part of the material is oriented in the longitudinal direction. Mix heat-fusible fibers and perform embossing, etc. Layer or insert reinforcing base material. The modulus in the longitudinal direction has been increased through measures such as applying a fiber binder. However, base fabrics for patches made with consideration to plaster application processability generally have poor elasticity and do not blend well with the skin, especially on areas with high elasticity such as elbows and knees. Not suitable for use in bent areas. Therefore, there is currently a need for the development of a base fabric for a patch that has good plaster application processability, is compatible with the skin when the patch is used, and is highly stretchable.

The present invention solves the above problem by creating a composite base fabric with a three-dimensional entangled nonwoven fabric by combining heat-shrinkable fibers that develop three-dimensional crimp through heat treatment with a net-like sheet such as cheesecloth or net made of water-soluble vinylon filament yarn. By configuring the following, a base fabric for a patch having good properties as a skin patch was obtained. In other words, the elasticity, which is an important performance for a patch base fabric, is provided by heat-shrinkable fibers that exhibit three-dimensional crimp, and the plaster application processability is provided by cheesecloth made of water-soluble vinylon flyment yarn. ,
By using a net-like sheet such as Net, we aim to improve the dimensional stability during processing (5% modulus in the longitudinal direction of 1 kg/5 cm width or more), and after applying the plaster, the moisture contained in the plaster allows the above-mentioned water-soluble vinylon to When a part or all of the net-like sheet swells and dissolves, the shape of the net-like sheet collapses, causing it to lose its function as a reinforcing material, resulting in a skin patch with extremely excellent elasticity.

The heat-shrinkable fiber used in the construction of the present invention is a synthetic fiber with a bimetallic structure, which is a composite of different components, whose structure, shrinkage rate, and mixture ratio greatly affect the stretch performance. It is preferable to have a crimp of 10% or more and a heat shrinkage rate of 10% or more. It is difficult to obtain the elasticity required by the present invention with simple heat-shrinkable fibers that do not exhibit three-dimensional crimp or with a shrinkage rate of less than 10%, and even when the blending ratio is less than 50%, sufficient elasticity cannot be obtained. It becomes impossible to fully demonstrate your abilities.

In addition, if the fineness of the filament yarn made of water-soluble vinylon is less than 10 deniers, fiber damage during needle punching will be large and the processability of plaster application will be poor. It often has poor solubility and is unable to exhibit sufficient stretchability. The net-like sheet such as cheesecloth or net is made using a single filament yarn or multiple bundled yarns of water-soluble vinylon, and the structure of the present invention is to use one having a basis weight of about 10 to 30 g/m2. is necessary.

[Example 1] A 2.5 d × 51 mm 100% polyester shrink fiber that develops a three-dimensional crimp by heat treatment is defibrated using a card machine to make a web, which is then needle punched at a needle density of 50 P/cm 2 . A needle-punch mat was heat-treated at 180°C for 3 minutes to obtain a needle-punch mat with a basis weight of 110 g/m 2 and highly elastic in the vertical and horizontal directions.
This mat is made of a single filament of 30 d water-soluble vinylon, and the number of implants is 5 in both the vertical and horizontal directions.
Laminated with cheesecloth of 1/2 inch, then needle punched with a needle density of 20P/cm 2 , intertwined and integrated the two, and the 5% modulus in the longitudinal direction was 1.8Kg/5.
A base fabric A for a skin patch having a width of cm was obtained.

[Example 2] A blended cotton web consisting of 2.5 d × 51 mm 70% of shrinkable polyester fibers that develop three-dimensional crimp by heat treatment and 30% of regular polyester fibers 2 d × 51 mm was needle-punched at a needle density of 50 P/cm 2 A needle-punch mat with a basis weight of 80 g/m 2 was formed. After laminating this mat with a net made of 15 d water-soluble vinylon single filament yarn with a basis weight of 20 g/m 2 , needle punching was performed again at a needle density of 20 P/cm 2 , and then heat treatment was performed at 180°C for 3 minutes. Processing was performed to obtain base fabric B for a patch having a finished area weight of 150 g/m 2 . The 5% modulus of this base fabric in the longitudinal direction is 1.2

As shown in the drawing, the thus obtained base fabric 1 for a patch of the present invention exhibits a three-dimensional crimp due to the heat shrinkage of the heat-shrinkable fibers that are intertwined by needle punching 2 and exhibit a three-dimensional crimp. The reticulated sheet 3 made of water-soluble vinylon filaments intertwined vertically and horizontally in a three-dimensional manner and integrally intertwined on the surface of the base fabric maintains dimensional stability during processing,
After applying the plaster 4, part or all of it swells and dissolves due to the water contained in the plaster and is cut into dots in the length direction.
It becomes extremely elastic. Note that 5 in the figure is a releasable film.

As mentioned above, since the base fabric for the patch according to the present invention is lined with a reticulated sheet made of water-soluble vinylon of appropriate fineness, it provides the dimensional stability required during plaster application, and after applying the plaster. The water-soluble vinylon filament gradually swells and dissolves due to the moisture contained in the paste, and its holding power is released, resulting in an interwoven fiber sheet with excellent elasticity that is mainly composed of three-dimensional crimp fibers developed through heat treatment. Therefore, this invention has excellent effects such as being able to obtain a patch that has good compatibility with the skin.
