``Function'' The above-described connecting device of the present invention has the following three steps when crimping and connecting a branch wire to the middle of a main wire: a stripping portion, a crimping portion, and a taping portion, which are rotated by the telescopic and rotatable transfer hand portion. It is located on the circumference, and has a configuration in which the peeling part, the crimping part, and the taping part are integrated in a three-dimensional shape, and the wire is processed by relaying the wire between the processes by the transfer hand part. Therefore, connections between main wires and branch wires can be processed continuously at high speed and with high takt time. Since the device has the above-mentioned integrated structure, it is compact and requires extremely little space, and the telescopic and rotatable transfer hand section can move at high speed through the shortest course between the processes to be transferred. , the time for transferring the wire group is shortened as much as possible.

The connection device having the above structure operates as follows. That is, with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, when the main electric wire 1 is manually inserted into the stripping section 3 and turned on, the stripping section 21 performs the above-mentioned operation, and the main electric wire 1 is inserted at an intermediate point. Form a bare wire part. Subsequently, the branch wire 2 (single wire or plural wires) with the end coating peeled off is inserted along with the main wire 1 so that the bare wire portions of both wires are in the same position. At this time, branch wire 2
When the insertion position exceeds the allowable range and comes into contact with the detection groove 25, the detection circuit becomes conductive and a defective insertion signal is transmitted, thereby accurately recognizing the defect. Therefore, the defect is immediately corrected. Subsequently, when the automatic operation switch is turned on, the wire group of the main wire 1 and the branch wire 2 inserted into the stripping section 3 is clamped and fixed by the holding claws 29 of the holding sections 22 and 23, and at the same time, The transfer hand section 6 starts in the direction of the arrow A shown in the solid line in FIG. The group of electric wires being held is clamped from above by clamps 14R14L. Subsequently, at the same time as the holding claw 29 is opened, the transfer hand portion 6'
rotates upward as shown by arrow B while shrinking,
The group of wires is transferred to the crimping section 4 and stopped at the 6'' position shown in the figure, and the clamps 14R14L are released to transfer the group of wires to the crimping section 4. Immediately thereafter, the wire concentrating mechanism 37 performs the above-mentioned operation to transfer the wires. At the same time, the crimping punch 32 descends to connect the bare wire portions of the wire group with the crimping piece 31. At this time, The connection piece 30 of the crimp piece 31 is separated at the same time.

1. A stripped part where the coating of the middle part of the main electric wire is peeled off to form a bare wire part, a crimp part where the bare wire part of the main electric wire and the bare wire part of the end of the branch electric wire are overlapped and crimped and connected; It consists of a combination of a taping part that wraps a tape around the crimped part, and a transfer hand part that has an expansion and contraction mechanism and a rotation mechanism and has a clamp at the tip, and the peeling part, the crimping part, and the taping part are The electric wire is located on the rotational circumference of the transfer hand section and is integrated into a common frame in a three-dimensional configuration, and the transfer hand section transfers the electric wire between the stripping section, the crimping section, and the taping section. A branch electric wire connecting device characterized by a structure in which a branch electric wire is processed and connected to the middle of the main electric wire by crimping.
