For example, a removable lid is installed on the hanging surface, and by removing the lid, limescale can be removed, or a tank that allows a large amount of water to flow into the vaporization chamber is considered. There is. However, accumulated limescale is difficult to remove if it is continuously heated by ordinary ironing, and no structure has been devised to effectively remove this scale.

A recess 3 is provided on the upper surface so as to surround it. 4
is a vaporization chamber that fits into this recess 3 and is removably attached from above the base 1 using, for example, a screw 5. 2 protrudes into the vaporization chamber 4 to improve vaporization efficiency. Reference numeral 6 denotes a vaporization chamber lid fixed to the vaporization chamber 4 by means such as press-fitting or clamping, and seals the vaporization chamber 4 watertightly, and the upper part of the vaporization chamber lid 6 is made of a highly heat-resistant material such as silicone rubber. The produced cylindrical member 7 is fixed. That is, the cylindrical member 7 and the vaporization chamber lid 6 are integrated with the vaporization chamber 4. Reference numeral 8 designates a steam passage formed in the base 1 that guides the steam generated in the vaporization chamber 4 through a passage 9 of the vaporization chamber 4 to a steam hole 10 on the lower surface of the base 1. Although only a portion of the steam holes 10 are shown in the drawing, it goes without saying that a large number of them may be provided.
Reference numeral 11 denotes a sealing packing interposed between the base lid 12 attached to the upper surface of the base 1 and the vaporization chamber 4. 13 is an outer shell cover, 14 is a handle attached above this outer shell cover 13, and 15 is this handle 1.
The tank is removably installed at the front of the tank 4, and a nozzle section 16 that fits into the cylindrical member 7 and connects to the vaporization chamber 4 is provided at the bottom. In addition, 17 is a button 1 provided on the top of the opening/closing tank for opening and closing this nozzle part 16.
Manually operated by 8.

である。 The steam iron of the present invention constructed as described above is normally used in the state shown in FIG. 1, and can be switched between steam and dry mode as appropriate by operating the button 18. Further, by removing the tank 15, special parts such as cuffs can be ironed. At this time, since the protective plate 19 is fitted into the outer shell cover 13, the opening 20 of the outer shell cover 13 does not open wide, allowing thermally safe work. In this way, the vaporization chamber 4 is used for a long period of time.
When steam ejection begins to be obstructed by limescale etc. accumulated inside tank 1, as shown in Figure 2,
5 and protection plate 19, and the exposed screws 5, the vaporization chamber 4 can be removed from the base 1 and easily replaced. Since the vaporization chamber 4 is integrated with the cylindrical member 7, etc., when replacing the vaporization chamber 4, no parts are lost, and the work is simple.

きい。Effects of the Invention As described above, the present invention is arranged above the vaporization chamber,
In addition, it has a tank that is removably attached to the outer shell cover, and by removing this tank, the vaporization chamber can be attached and detached from above the base. Even if evaporation residue, so-called water scale, accumulates and steam no longer spouts out, the vaporization chamber can be removed from the base by the same operation as removing the tank when filling and draining water during use, and can be sent for repair. Limescale can be easily removed at home at any time, and good steam can be emitted over a long period of time. Furthermore, the tank as well as the vaporization chamber can be attached and detached from above the base, making it easier to work with. The long-life iron that solves the problems caused by water stains in steam irons has been extremely effective.
