ンマー群を選択駆動して活字を衝打せしめ、イン
クリボンを介して活字を印字用紙上に印刷するも
のである。一般にハンマー群は数ブロツクに分割
作製されている。ところが何等かの理由によりハ
ンマー群の中の1個のハンマーに支障を来たす
と、その桁の印字は不良となり、この不良を修復
するには不良桁を含むハンマー群ブロツクを取替
えることが必要となる。この取替えに工数を必要
とするのみならず支障を発生した以後復旧まで印

し印字用紙7とプラテン8を衝打し所要文字が印
字用紙7に印刷される。通常状態にて印刷装置を
作動する場合には印字ハンマー群3のみを使用
し、これら印字ハンマー群3が支障を来すと移動
印字ハンマー4を使用する。この使用の区別はハ
ンマー移動スイツチ11にて切換えられ通常使用
のとき“オフ”とする。移動印字ハンマー4は例
えば1つのハンマーブロツクに1個のハンマーが
相当するように13個設けられており、これら13個
の移動印字ハンマー群4は一体的に移動機構5に
より印字桁方向(図のX方向)に移動させられ
る。この移動機構5の移動量を規制するのが制御
部13である。この移動量の設定は操作パネル9
上にて行う。即ち移動印字ハンマー4を124桁目
に移動する場合には桁指定釦10−1を押下し

より124桁の124はバツフアレジスタ12に格納さ
れ、この値を制御部13が読取り移動機構5を作
