詳しくは、自動塗装装置を配備した吹付塗装作業
域に対して、その天井部のほぼ全面から換気気体
を下方向き層流状に吹出す天井吹出口、側壁部か
ら換気気体を横向きに吹出す横吹出口、及び、余
剰吹付塗料ミストを域内気体と共に排出する床部
排気口を設け、前記側壁部に照明具を付設し塗装

るときには明るい照明が作業域内の広範囲にわた
つて必要なことから、又、照明具が天井吹出口や
横吹出口からの換気気体吹出しの支障とならない
ようにという配慮から、照明具を、横吹出口より
も高所の側壁部から作業域内に直接に臨ませるよ
うに配設していた。つまり、作業域の内側のうち
横吹出口よりも高い箇所に照明具を直接的に取付
けていた(文献を示すことができない)。

き従来ブースにおいては、自動塗装作業時におい
て、照明具の発熱に起因した域内気体の局部的上
昇流によつて換気気体の下方向き層流流動状態が
乱され、内側壁近くで渦流が生じるために、上述
した塗料ミスト排除の迅速化が損なわれると共
に、渦流の引き込み作用によつて内側壁への塗料

ミスト付着防止面での不都合を解消する点にあ
