Conventionally, in this type of opening/closing device for a document pressure plate, the document pressure plate is at an acute angle with respect to the contact glass immediately before closing, so that the document placed on the contact glass is pushed and the placement position is changed. There are problems such as misalignment, distortion, or wrinkles, and these problems are compounded when the original is thick, resulting in a flaw that the copy is likely to be unclear and misaligned.

The support member 7 further includes a control pin 21 on the pin 19 side but at a different pivot point.
By abutting against a protrusion 20c protruding from the side plate 20a, it is mounted so that it does not rotate. This control pin 21 has a first

Now, with the document pressure bonding plate B closed, the first
As shown in the figure, the support member 7 and the control member 20 are in a mutually folded state with respect to the mounting member 1, and in this state, in particular, the support member 7 and the control member 20 are twisted as shown in FIGS. Coil spring 9,9
(only one side shown), and compression coil spring 1
The total elasticity of 7 and 17 (the same applies below where only one is shown) is inferior to the weight of original pressure bonding plate B, and
The crank means 25, 25 (only one shown) pulls the control pin 21 of the control member 20 clockwise, and the torsion coil springs 26, 26 (only one shown) also pull the control pin 21 of the control member 20 through the control pin 21. Since the document pressing plate B is rotated clockwise in the direction in which it overlaps with the support member 7, the document pressing plate B maintains a stable closed state and presses the document onto the contact glass 27 by its own weight. Of course, at this point, the original pressing plate B may be pressed onto the contact glass 27 by directing the direction of action of the elastic force of the compression coil springs 17, 17 downward. Further, in the above-described state, the compression coil springs 17, 17 are in a maximum compressed state, but their elasticity hardly acts in the direction of opening the document pressure bonding plate B.

Next, when the original pressure bonding plate B is opened from this state, since the control member 20 is in contact with the back of the support member 7, the document pressure bonding plate B is pressed against the hinge pin 6 of the support member 7.
The support member 7 and the control member 20 are rotated clockwise around the pivot position as the fulcrum, and as shown in FIGS.
It opens as shown. As this document pressure bonding plate B is opened, the spring control members 16, 16
At the same time, the direction of action of the compression coil springs 17, 17, which rotate clockwise, changes to push the support member 7 in the opening direction, and this elasticity is combined with the elasticity of the torsion coil springs 9, 9 to rotate the original. Since it acts in the direction of reducing the weight of the pressure bonding plate B, the document pressure bonding plate B can be opened without significantly reducing its weight, and the weight of the document pressure bonding plate B, that is, the opening angle, is constantly changing. Even if the hand is released from the document pressure bonding plate B when the torque that changes and the elasticity that acts in a direction to cancel this balance are balanced, the document will stop in a slightly reversed state as described later and will not fall naturally. This allowable stop range is determined by interposing the friction members 11, 11 and the spring washer 12 at the pivot point of the mounting member 1 and the support member 7, that is, at the position of the hinge pin 6, and by caulking the tail portion 6b of the hinge pin 6. This is due to the frictional force caused by this.

When the original pressure bonding plate B is further opened, the elasticity (torque) of the torsion coil springs 9, 9 and the elasticity of the compression coil springs 17, 17 gradually weaken, but they still outweigh the rotational torque of the document pressure bonding plate B. Since the original pressing plate B is opened naturally, the stopper pin 10 comes into contact with the edges of the side plates 1a and 1a of the mounting member 1 at an opening angle of about 75 degrees as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8. stop by.

Even if it does not open to this maximum opening angle, there is no problem in using it, and if you release your hand within the opening angle range of approximately 35° to 60°,
As described above, the original pressure bonding plate B is stopped in a slightly inverted state together with the control member 20 against the elasticity of the torsion coil springs 26, 26, and this inversion angle is determined by each crank means at the opening angle of the document pressure bonding plate B. 2

When the opened document pressure bonding plate B is closed, the document pressure bonding plate B is slightly inverted as described above, and the crank means 25, 25 are used to torsion the coil springs 9, 9 while changing the inversion angle moment by moment. The crank means 2 is closed against the elasticity of the compression coil springs 17, 17, and the original pressing plate B is approximately parallel to the contact glass 27.
5 and 25 and the torsion coil springs 26 and 26, the document pressure bonding plate B falls and closes while maintaining a state parallel to the contact glass 27.

Furthermore, even if the original is thick like the book 28, the reversed original pressing plate B will cover the upper surface of the book 28 in the ninth position.
As shown in FIGS. 10 to 10, since the cover can be covered substantially horizontally, leakage of exposure light to the outside or intrusion of outside light into the interior of the machine can be prevented as much as possible.

In this invention, what ensures the horizontal fall of the original pressure bonding plate B against the contact glass is the mutual effect of the crank means 25, 25 and the torsion coil springs 26, 26, as described above. That is, depending on the opening angle of the original pressure bonding plate B, the pivot positions of the first arm members 22, 22 of the crank means 25, 25 relative to the control pin 21, and the second arm member 24,
Since the distance between the shaft support positions by the pins 23 and 23 of 24 changes, the crank means 25,
Reference numeral 25 changes the inversion angle of the document pressure bonding plate B by rotating the control member 20 about the pin 19 as a fulcrum. Therefore, even without the torsion coil springs 26, 26, the crank means 2
By controlling the movements of 5 and 25 more accurately, it becomes possible to horizontally drop the original pressure bonding plate B. The springs 26, 26 are used to assist the smooth movement of the crank means 25, 25.

As explained in detail above, according to the present invention, the document pressure plate can be dropped horizontally with a simple configuration, so that the position of the document placed on the contact glass does not shift when the document pressure plate is closed. , it is possible to achieve the effect of being able to prevent wrinkles as much as possible.

1. A mounting member is attached to the main body of the copying machine, and a supporting member is provided on the mounting member via a hinge pin so as to rotate in the same direction as the opening/closing direction of the document pressure plate, and the supporting member and the mounting member are connected to each other. providing an elastic means for biasing the support member in the opening direction between the two;
A control member is pivotally attached to the free end side of the support member via a pin so as to rotate in a direction opposite to the support member, a document pressure bonding plate is attached to the control member, and a pressure bonding plate is attached to the control member, and a control member is provided between the support member and the control member. an elastic means for rotationally biasing the control member in a direction overlapping with the support member, and one end of the control member is pivoted between the control member and the mounting member at a position different from the pin of the control member. and a second arm member having one end pivoted to the free end side of the first arm member and the other end pivoted to a position different from the hinge pin of the mounting member. and the crank means reverses the control member against the elasticity of the elastic means when the document pressure plate is closed, so that the document pressure plate falls horizontally onto the contact glass. An opening/closing device for the original pressure bonding plate.
