利用貯湯装置は熱媒を中位の出口36から集熱器
に循環させた場合は、貯湯量は少ないが短時間で
高温の貯湯ができ、熱媒を下位の出口36から集
熱器に循環させた場合は、長時間を要するが多量
の貯湯ができ、従つて種々の実情に合わせて給湯
することができる点で実用的効果が高い。

形成しても良い。即ち上位に設けた熱媒の入口7
から流れ込んだ熱媒は流路6を流れ降りながら水
槽1内の水を加熱し、出口8a,8bから熱源に
還流する。この場合加熱する水を中位の出口8b
よりも上に限る場合、この中位の出口8bの真下
で絞り9が形成されているので、この絞り9によ
り熱媒の流れが中位の出口に促進されてこの絞り
9より下に流れ降りることがなく、従つて熱交換
量が増大し、高温の貯湯ができるのである。特に
出口8bから遠い部位で顕著である。
