覚によつて暖かいと感じる湯であるのに対し、設
定するものは温度という数値であり、同じ温度の
湯であつても冬期のように外気温が低い場合は暖
かく感じ、外気温の高い夏期では生ぬるく感じる
ために、実際に要求される混合水とは異なる場合
が生じるという問題点を有していた。

定器8は第3図に示すように使用者の要求に応じ
設定温度を微調整し、快適さを増すものである。
