空間と外方とを区画すれば、たとえば防護壁等を
設けるのに比して視界を妨げることなく、運転者
が運転部から外方に体を不測にのり出した場合に
も、光又は超音波が運転者によつて遮断され、検
出手段及び操作手段の働きによりバツクホウ装置
の駆動装置が自動停止し、のり出した運転者にバ
ツクホウ装置が衝突するのを防止できる。
