間取るという間題があつた。

筒状の金属筒を形成し、次いで、この金属筒をそ
の周壁の内外両面から加圧することにより角突状
に成形して基板で角筒状の上下両端が開口した集
水器本体を形作ると共に、上記突片を内外両面か
ら加圧して集水器本体の上端縁に飾り板を成形す
る金属製集水器の成形方法が開示される。

る。本発明の成形方法によつて得られる集水器C
は、第1図c及び第2図に示すように、上下の両
端が開口した角筒状の集水器本体3及び集水器本
体3の上端前縁から上端側縁に亘る部分で上方に
突出する飾り板4とで形成され、集水器本体3の
前面にはこの部分を打出してできる凹凸模様6が
形成される。この集水器Cは、第1図aに示すよ
うに、長方形状の基板1における一方長辺中央か
ら同一平面内で突片2が延出した形状に栽断した
一枚の金属素板Aから成形されるものであり、基
板1で上記集水器本体3を形作り、突片2で上記
飾り板4を形作る。金属素板Aは、先ず、第1図
bに示すように、円筒形に折り曲げて基板1にお
ける短片同士を突き合せると共にこの突き合せ箇
所Xを溶接により結合して円筒状の金属筒Bに成
形される。次いで、この金属筒Bの内外に夫々金
型(図示せず)を配し、金属筒Bにおける基板1
及び突片2を内面がわから加圧して基板1を角筒
状に成形して基板1で角筒状の集水器本体3を形
作ると共に、突片2を平面形状がコ字状となるよ
うに加圧成形して上記の集水器本体3上端の前縁
から左右の両側縁に亘る部分に突出する飾り板4
をこの突片2で形作るものであり、同時に、集水
器本体3の前面に打出し加工を施して上記の凹凸
模様6を作り出すと共に、集水器本体3の下端へ
竪樋との連結用の円形の連結筒5を形作る。尚、
上記の実施例では、長方形状の基板1を備えた金
属素板Aを円筒形に折り曲げて上下に亘つて径が
略均一な金属筒Bを成形し、この金属筒Bが加圧
成形して集水器Cを作り出す例を示したが、本発
明は必ずしもこれのみ限定されるものではなく、
例えば扇形の基板を備えた金属素板を筒形に折り
曲げて第3図に示すような、下端がわが細くなつ
たテーパ筒状の金属筒Bを成形し、このテーパ筒
状の金属筒Bから加圧成形によつて集水器を成形
