DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to a portable radio communication device in which a battery case is detachable from the main body of the radio device, and more specifically, to a means for attaching and detaching the battery case.

Generally, in a portable radio communication device, a battery case is detachably attached to the main body of the radio device. The attachment/detachment method can be roughly divided into the slide lock type and the bionet lock type. That is, in the slide lock method, the joint surface of the battery case slides along the mounting joint surface of the radio main body, and the two are connected by a lock lever that moves with this operation. Locally, the bionet lock type has a male member and a female member that can be fitted into each other, and the locking mechanism is activated by fitting the two members and rotating them relative to each other at a predetermined angle. ing.

However, the common thing about both types is that electrical connection terminals are provided on the sliding joint surface, so if used repeatedly, the electrical and mechanical connection will become loose due to wear etc., and the durability will deteriorate. It has the disadvantage of being scarce. Furthermore, even if waterproofness is provided, if a waterproof packing such as an O-ring is placed between the sliding joint surfaces, wear will be severe as in the above case. For this reason, in some models, the electrical connection terminal is surrounded by multiple walls, but the structure is complicated and this requires considerable cost. Furthermore, the slide lock type requires considerable force to attach and detach, making it difficult to operate. On the other hand, the bionet lock type is easier to attach and detach than the slide lock type, but it rotates relatively easily due to an external impact and the electrical and mechanical connections are released. There is a risk of it being damaged.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a portable radio device comprising a radio device main body, a battery case attached to the radio device main body, and an attachment/detachment means for mechanically and electrically connecting both at the joint surface thereof. In the wireless communication device, the attachment/detachment means includes a male member formed on the battery case side joint surface and a female member formed on the radio device main body side joint surface, and the male member is fitted into the female member. The side wall of the projection is provided with an engaging groove and a waterproof O-ring, and the top wall of the projection is provided with a pair of power terminals. The female member has an opening corresponding to the protrusion, a lock mechanism that elastically engages with the engagement groove, and a release mechanism that releases the lock mechanism, and a bottom surface of the opening that contacts the power terminal. A connecting terminal is provided, and an annular rib is formed around the connecting terminal so as to be in contact with the O-ring.

When the protrusion is forcibly fitted into the opening, the engagement groove is elastically captured by the locking mechanism, thereby mechanically connecting the radio device body and the battery case. At the same time, since the O-ring is in close contact with the annular rib, the area around the power supply terminal and the connection terminal is almost completely sealed.

Next, the operation of the attachment/detachment means will be explained. first,
Taking as an example a state in which the battery case 2 is removed from the radio main body 1 as shown in FIG. 2, in this state the first engagement levers 20, 2
0 and the second engagement levers 21, 21 are connected to the spring means 2 through each pair of link bars 24 and connecting pins 25.
7, they are urged to rotate in a direction in which they are mutually closed. Accordingly, the push button 31 is held in a state protruding from the opening 30 by the base side arms 20b, 20b of the first engagement levers 20, 20.

When attaching the battery case 2 to the radio main body 1, the protrusion 7 can be forcibly pushed into the opening 16 of the radio main body 1. That is, by this pushing operation, each of the tapered surfaces 8a and 8b comes into contact with each free end side of the first engagement lever 20 and the second engagement lever 21, and pushes them open against the biasing force of the spring means 27. The first and second engagement levers 2
0 and 21 exceed the maximum diameter portions of the tapered surfaces 8a and 8b, each engagement lever 20 and 21 is moved by the spring means 2.
With the rotation urging force of 7, the projections 7 are engaged in the engagement grooves 10a, 10b of the cylindrical portions 9a, 9b, and the projections 7 are firmly captured. In the captured state, power terminals 11, 11
and the connection terminals 35, 35 are connected, and O
The ring 12 fits tightly within the annular rib 36, thereby ensuring waterproofing around the terminal connection area. In this case, since no strong sliding friction force is applied to the O-ring 12, it will not wear out prematurely, and even if it does wear out, it can be easily replaced.

As is clear from the description of the embodiments described above, according to the present invention, the battery case can be inserted into the main body of the radio device by a so-called one-touch nimble pushing operation, without sliding or rotating the battery case as in the conventional case. Can be installed. Furthermore, during installation, the area around the power supply terminal is sealed with an O-ring, so it is highly waterproof and the life of the O-ring can be extended. Furthermore, by providing two sets of engagement levers and interlocking them with a link bar, various effects such as the ability to compactly integrate the locking mechanism and the release mechanism are achieved.
