Conventionally, when inserting a cable into a buried conduit, the inside of the buried conduit was first inspected and observed, and the cable was buried after confirming that there were no abnormalities in the conduit. This inspection is carried out by inserting a television camera into the underground conduit through a manhole at one end of the conduit, and pulling the wires connected to the front and back of the television camera with a winch installed above ground. A television camera is moved inside the pipeline to take pictures of any objects that have entered the pipeline, misaligned connections, cracks in the inner wall, and any damaged areas. The inside of the pipeline was inspected and observed by projecting images onto a cathode ray tube installed on the ground via a communication line.

However, if there is sewage in the pipes,
When a television camera is stretched with a wire as described above, it is exposed to dirty water or submerged in dirty water, and the entire screen at that point becomes brown and opaque, making it impossible to inspect.

A sealed chamber that is movable within the pipe is formed between these water stop devices, and a drainage device is provided to drain the wastewater from the sealed chamber at any time. In this drainage device, one of the water stop devices is provided with a pipe body that sends compressed air from the outside to the sealed room, and the other water stop device is provided with a pipe body that drains sewage from the sealed room to the outside. A hole communicating with the hollow part of the tube is bored on the outer periphery of the closed end of the tube protruding into the sealed chamber, and one end of the pendulum is rotatably suspended from the outer periphery of the tube so as to cover this hole. A water absorption hole is bored from the lower end of the pendulum to an annular groove provided on the inner periphery of the pendulum that is in contact with the outer periphery of the tube having the hole.

By providing the water stop device of the present invention, the area around the television camera for inspecting pipes is sealed, making it difficult for dirty water to enter the sealed chamber. Moreover, even if this sewage comes in, this sewage is discharged to the outside. Therefore, the photographing lens of the television camera is not contaminated with sewage, and the inner walls of the pipes are not covered with sewage.
The inside of the pipe can always be clearly photographed. In addition, when discharging the wastewater, compressed air is sent into the sealed chamber through the tube of one of the water stop devices to increase the air pressure in the sealed chamber, and the sewage in the sealed chamber is siphoned.
The pendulum can be instantly and easily discharged from the lower end of the pendulum to the outside of the closed room through the through hole, the annular groove, the hole, and the hollow part of the tube. At that time, the water stop device or the like twists and rotates due to the tension of the wire, but the pendulum is always positioned downward due to its own weight, and the sewage is sucked up into the water absorption hole of the pendulum.

Connect the TV camera 3 to the rear slightly away from the
Cable clamp 1 behind this TV camera 3
2 is provided with a second water stop device 11, the wire 5 is connected to the cable clamp 12, and these are inserted from one end of the conduit 1. While winding up the wire 4 with the winch 7, the wire 5 is inserted from one end of the conduit 1. Move the television camera 3 to the other end. This television camera 3 photographs the inner wall of the conduit 1.
The first water stop device 10 and the second water stop device 11 are
Since the outer circumferential diameters of the rubber packings 19 and 33 and the annular sponges 18 and 33 are slightly larger than the inner circumferential diameter of the conduit 1, they close the conduit 1. Therefore, the first water stop device 1
A sealed chamber 37 containing a television camera 3 is formed between 0 and the second water stop device 11, and this sealed chamber 37 is moved in the longitudinal direction within the conduit 1 by the movement of the television camera 3. do. Therefore, when the sealed chamber 37 moves through a place in the conduit 1 where sewage has accumulated, it is difficult for sewage to enter the sealed chamber 37. Therefore, depending on the amount of sewage, the inner wall of the conduit 1 inside the sealed chamber 37 can be clearly photographed. However, if the amount of sewage is large, when moving the sealed room 37, the water stop device 1
Sewage enters the sealed chamber 37 from the outer periphery of the rubber packings 19 and 33 numbered 0 and 11. In this case, stop the TV camera at the point in pipe 1 that you want to photograph,
Tube 1 from ground air compressor 13
4. Send compressed air into the sealed chamber 37 via the tube connector 35 and the long tube body 34. On the other hand, since the pendulum 20 provided in the first water stop device 10 is rotatably provided in the tube body 16 and always hangs downward due to its own weight, the lower opening of the water intake hole 23 is always in a closed room. It is located at the bottom of 37 conduit 1. Therefore, as described above, when compressed air is sent into the sealed chamber 37 and the sealed chamber 37 is filled with compressed air, the pressure inside the sealed chamber 37 increases, and a pressure difference is created between the sealed chamber 37 and the outside. The sewage inside is drained from the water absorption hole 23 of the pendulum 20, the annular groove 21a, and the through hole 2.
4. The sealed chamber 37 passes through the hollow part 25 and the drainage hole 28.
It is immediately drained into the outer conduit 1. In this case, due to the siphon action, all of the waste water in the sealed chamber 37 is drained, regardless of its amount.

etc. rotate within the conduit 1 due to the twisting of the wire 4, etc., but this causes the through hole 24 of the tube body 16 to also be located above or to the side. However, in this embodiment, as described above, the pendulum 20 is always positioned downward due to its own weight, and one end of the water absorption hole 23 of the pendulum 20 currently faces the groove 21a, and the through hole 24 of the tube body 16 is positioned at any position. However, since it faces the annular groove 21a, the sewage is always flowing into the pendulum 2.
The water is discharged from the water absorption hole 23 of No. 0 through the hollow portion 25 of the pipe body 16 to the lower part of the first water stop device 10 .
