Description
【発明の詳細な説明】
本発明は、螢光灯の構造、特にいわゆるアパー
チヤ型の螢光灯(以下、螢光灯と略称する)に関

従来、アパーチヤ型螢光灯は、均一な線状の高
輝度を得ることを目的とした光源であり、複写
機、フアクシミリ、光プリンター等の光源として
使用されていた。その構造は、第1図、第2図に
示されるがごとく、螢光灯のガラス管内面1に塗
布した螢光体2を管の長手方向にスリツト状に除
去してアパーチヤ3を形成させたものであつた。
しかしながら、アパーチヤ3より得られる光の長
手方向の輝度分布が、第3図に示されるがごと
く、中心から離れるにしたがつて輝度が漸減する
性質を有する為、第3図の4で示される長さの線
状光が必要な場合、この線状光の末端部の輝度は
低下しており、長さ方向の輝度の高い均一性が得
られないという欠点を首した。従来この欠点に対
処する為、螢光管の絶対長を長くする方法がとら
れていたが、装置の大型化、高コスト化の問題が

光灯と同等の均一性を有する線状光を得る為には
従来のアパーチヤ型螢光灯に比して管長は短くて
済み、装置の小型化、少電力化、低コスト化に大
