次に動作を説明すれば、第1図においてケーブ
ル直径、外被厚みに対して回転部材2を回転し、
進み角αを選択し、ロツク部材3で固定する。又
すくい角θ、切込量hを選択後、ボルト5で剥離
刃6を固定する。このようにして、回転レバー7
を矢印方向に一回転したのち、回転しながらa方
向に送ることにより、ケーブル外被8の剥離が可
能である。
第2図は剥離刃の形状および剥離方法を説明す
るための図である。最初、剥離刃6の底部でケー
ブル外被に食い付き、外被厚1/3程度の切込量で
外被8は完全に切断される。剥離刃を矢印方向に
回転させてゆくと、刃部bでのみ外被9を切断
し、刃部cで芯線9と外被8を引き離してゆく。
なお、刃部cではR2程度の面取りをし、外被8
へ刃が食い込むのを防いでいる。
