【発明の詳細な説明】
〔産業上の利用分野〕
本発明は、電子写真複写機等の熱ローラ定着装
置すなわち、記録シートに付着したトナー像を融

熱ローラ定着装置は、少なくとも一方が内部に

の熱でトナー像を記録シートに融着させるもので
あり、記録シートがトナー像の付着した面を内部
に熱源を有する熱ローラに接するようにして通さ
れるものである。そして、一対のローラの表面に
は、トナーが付着しないように、離型性に優れ、
また耐熱性にも優れる、ポリ4弗化エチレン等の
表層が設けられるのが普通である。しかし、この
ような表層が設けられていても、ローラの表面は
トナーの付着によつて汚れ易い。したがつて、特
にトナーの付着し易い、記録シートのトナー像付
着面が接触する熱ローラの表面に対しては、付着
したトナー等の汚れを除去するための摺擦手段
や、トナーが付着することを防止するシリコンオ
イル等のオフセツト防止液の付与手段を設けるこ
とが行われている。熱ローラの表面に対して摺擦
手段とオフセツト防止液付与手段とを設けれは、
ローラのトナー汚れは効果的に防止されるが、ロ
ーラ周りにシリコンオイル等の供給装置と付与装
置を設けることで熱ローラ部分が大型且つ複雑と
なり、熱ローラ定着装置全体が大型化する。

ラ定着装置を発明した。この発明は特願昭57−
710号によつて出願されている。この発明によれ
ば、オフセツト防止液含浸部材は直接ローラに接
触しないから、ローラ周りが簡素化され、熱ロー
ラ定着装置をコンパクト化し易いと云う効果が得
られる。しかし、オフセツト防止液含浸部材と摺
擦手段との別体にしているため、コンパクト化の
効果をそれ程大きくはない。また、摺擦手段がオ
フセツト防止液含浸部材の表面を摺擦して損耗さ

て、ローラ周りが簡素化されてコンパクト化が十
分に達成でき、オフセツト防止液含浸部材自体が
損耗することもないと云う改良された熱ローラ定
着装置を提供するものである。

によつて回転される構成の摺擦ローラを記録シー
トのトナー像付着面に接する熱ローラに接触させ
て、接触部での移動方向を熱ローラとは反対側に
回転させるようにしたことを特徴とする熱ローラ
定着装置にあり、この構成によつて上記目的を達
成したものである。

向に回転するオフセツト防止液付与手段を兼ねた

効率が向上すると共に、さらに摺擦部材11が片
面パイル布帛から成ることによつて目詰まりなく
適量のオフセツト防止液が常に熱ローラ1面に安
定して供給できると云う効果を得ることができ
