グを介して着脱自在に挿着することを特徴として

よりも大きく形成され、嵌入した状態において両
部材の内周面に段差が生じないようになつてい
る。さらに、継手本体2のすり合わせシール座3
と嵌合する部分の外周面には段差部2cが設けら
れ、、この段差部2cにおいて、他方の継手部材
との連結のためのめねじ部5aを有するねじ結合
部としてのユニオンナツト5が、継手本体2と同
じ軸心で掛止されている。一方、他端部には、ホ
ース30に挿入されるニツプル部2dと、このニ
ツプル部2dの外側に環状空間を隔てて同心状に
配置され、その基部において継手本体2に固着さ
れる筒状のソケツト6とからなるホース結合部7
が設けられた構成となつている。

接続部分の内周面には実質的に段差を生じること
がなく好都合である。

すべき相手の継手部材のシール座に対してシール
面の角度が合わない場合には、すり合わせシール
座のみを交換することによつて接続が可能にな
る。したがつて、従来のように適合しない継手部
材を接続するために余計な部材を使用するという
面倒で費用のかかる作業を行なう必要がなくな
り、また、適合する継手部材を用いてホースアセ
ンブリを作り直す必要もないので、極めて経済的
である。
