In conventional premix gas burners, the above-mentioned flame retaining plate and attached parts are exposed to high temperatures (usually 800 to 1000℃).
Regarding exposure to the above), since it was necessary to make it from heat-resistant ceramic, the following practical drawbacks have been recognized.

In view of the above-mentioned problems, this invention utilizes the heat resistance and insulation properties of the ceramic material itself, as well as the toughness of the metal material itself, to create a large-sized, downward-facing structure of the combustion flame retaining plate for gas burners. Not only does this make things easier, but it also forms complicated and irregular gas passage holes to significantly improve flame retention.

The function of this combustion flame retaining plate 10 will be explained assuming that combustion occurs on the surface side of the upper perforated member 2. First, as shown in Fig. 5, in the window holes 3, 3... located above and below the spherical members 1, 1..., each The mixed gas flowing between the perforated members 2, 2 and toward the outside flows approximately tangentially to the surface of each spherical member 1, 1.... Therefore, since the flow directions of the mixed gas flowing out from the gaps 4, 4, . . . are opposite to each other, stable flame maintenance is possible without lifting the flame during combustion.

Prevents fire from entering the room.

In this invention, the direction of the premixture blown out from the perforated member on the combustion side is directed upwards from the spherical member and faces each other, so even if a combustion flame is generated due to this, the combustion flame is stabilized without causing a lift phenomenon. In addition, the top of the heat-resistant spherical member and the surface of the perforated member are set to be substantially flush with each other, and the surface position of the perforated member is set at a position where the flame temperature is low. Because of this, the flame retaining plate may overheat (red heat).
can be effectively prevented.

ある。 Moreover, since there is a heat-resistant spherical member such as ceramic between the perforated member on the combustion surface side and the perforated member on the mixing chamber side, combustion heat is transferred toward the mixed gas supply side (mixing chamber). At the same time, when the mixed gas passes between the perforated members from the mixing chamber side, the mixed gas flow bends over a rectangular distance as shown by the arrow.
This has the effect of effectively preventing flames from igniting the mixing chamber.

Furthermore, since the spherical member can move freely within each window hole, it exhibits a self-cleaning effect, reducing the number of maintenance inspections for clogging, etc., and maintaining stable performance over a long period of time. Can be done.
