(Prior Art) Conventionally, in accordance with the Fire Service Act and other related standards, fixed fire extinguishing devices have been installed in each protected object according to its type. Fixed fire extinguishing systems are broadly divided into those that emit high-pressure gas such as CO 2 gas or halide gas or extinguishing powder, and those that emit water-based extinguishing agents. Dry powder fire extinguishing systems have the advantage of not damaging the protected object, but they do not have an adequate cooling effect, leaving hot parts even after extinguishing the fire and can easily cause re-ignition, and even if the stored amount of extinguishing agent is released, It has drawbacks such as the inability to continue extinguishing a fire if it cannot be extinguished. Therefore, two systems of fire extinguishing systems, one using a gas or dry extinguishing agent and the other using a water-based extinguishing agent, are installed in parallel in the protected area where important objects to be protected are located, but this is not economical and is difficult to extinguish. There were problems such as the piping was complicated, and the fire extinguishing piping and nozzle of one fire extinguishing system itself became an obstruction, making it impossible for the other fire extinguishing system to perform adequately.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention installs fire extinguishing piping whose base selectively communicates with a water-based extinguishing agent supply source and a higher pressure gas or dry powder extinguishing agent supply source in a protected area. At the same time, the fire extinguishing piping is equipped with a switching valve that automatically switches depending on the pressure of the extinguishing agent supplied, and a nozzle for water-based extinguishing agent and a nozzle for gas or powder-based extinguishing agent are installed at the tip of this switching valve. This device is characterized by having a nozzle device arranged in a bifurcated manner.

For example, the switching valve 9 is connected to the valve body 1 as shown in FIG.
A spring 13 and a movable valve body 14 with an L-shaped hole 18 are housed inside the valve body 2, and the end face of the valve body 12 opposite to the spring 13 is connected to the fire extinguishing pipe 2. A connection port 15 is provided, and a connection port 16 for a nozzle 10 for aqueous extinguishing agent and a connection port 17 for a nozzle 11 for a gas or powder extinguishing agent are provided on the side wall. In general, the pressure of water-based extinguishing agents is around 3.5 Kg/ cm2 , while the pressure of gas or powder-based extinguishing agents is relatively high at 9 to 10 Kg/ cm2 , so water-based extinguishing agents are supplied to the fire extinguishing pipe 2. When the movable valve body 14 of the switching valve 9 is balanced in the position shown in FIG. When a gas or powder extinguishing agent is supplied to the fire extinguishing pipe 2, the movable valve body 14 moves downward while compressing the spring 13 due to the pressure of the supplied extinguishing agent, and the hole 18 thereof communicates with the connection port 17. A gas or powder extinguishing agent will be ejected from the nozzle 11 for gas or powder extinguishing agent.

FIG. 3 shows another example of the switching valve 9, in which a disc spring, plate spring, etc. 19 is interposed between the movable valve body 14 and the valve body 12, and the movable valve body 14 is used to supply extinguishing agent. It is designed to be stable in two positions depending on the pressure.

FIG. 4 shows a rotary switching valve 9, in which a cylindrical movable valve body 14 is provided with a pinion 20, and a rack 21 that engages with the pinion 20 is moved using a cylinder mechanism 22 operated by the pressure of extinguishing agent. This is how it was done. When the extinguishing agent is a water-based extinguishing agent, the movable valve body 14 assumes the position shown in FIG. It will rotate 90° clockwise.

(Function) When a fire occurs, the base of the fire extinguishing pipe 2 is first connected to the gas or powder extinguishing agent supply source 5, and a high-pressure gas such as a halide gas or powder extinguishing agent is supplied. is supplied to the fire extinguishing pipe 2, the switching valve 9 of the nozzle device 3 arranged in large numbers in the fire extinguishing pipe 2 is operated by the pressure of the gas or powder extinguishing agent, and the gas or powder extinguishing agent is switched to the gas or powder extinguishing agent. A fire extinguishing agent is discharged from a nozzle 11 to extinguish the protected area 1 with gas or powder. If the fire is extinguished only with gas or powder, the operation of the fire extinguishing system will end; however, if the fire cannot be extinguished even after releasing a predetermined amount of gas or powder extinguishing agent, the fire extinguishing piping 2 will be used for water-based extinguishing. The water-based extinguishing agent flows through the same extinguishing pipe 2 and reaches the nozzle device 3 . Since the water pressure of a water-based extinguishing agent is generally much lower than that of a gas or dry powder extinguishing agent, the switching valve 9 switches the water-based extinguishing agent to the nozzle 10 for the water-based extinguishing agent based on the pressure difference.
This will completely extinguish fires that could not be extinguished with gas or powder extinguishing agents alone. As described above, the fixed fire extinguishing system of the present invention is capable of discharging two types of extinguishing media: gas or powder extinguishing agent and water-based extinguishing agent, so when a fire occurs, it is necessary to first extinguish the fire with gas or powder extinguishing agent. If the fire cannot be extinguished using this method, the fire can be extinguished using a water-based extinguishing agent, making it possible to extinguish the fire by taking advantage of the advantages of both methods. In addition, since the fire extinguishing piping 2 can be used in common, the two systems can be used in parallel. It is more economical than installing one. Furthermore, the gas or powder-based extinguishing agent and the water-based extinguishing agent can be discharged from dedicated nozzles 10 and 11, respectively, and since they are connected to the switching valve 9 in a bifurcated manner, one nozzle is connected to the other nozzle. It does not become an obstacle and impede the fire extinguishing function, and the switching valve 9 is designed to switch the flow path according to the pressure of the supplied extinguishing agent, so the nozzle can be switched reliably even in the event of a fire. It is something that can be done. In addition, in cases where the fire can be extinguished with gas extinguishing, such as a smoldering fire, but the source of the fire remains deep inside, it is possible to completely extinguish the fire by extinguishing it with water.

In this example, water is used as the water-based fire extinguishing agent, but there is no specification as long as it is a water-based fire extinguishing agent such as a foam fire extinguishing agent or a reinforced liquid fire extinguishing agent, and it is also possible to change gas fire extinguishing to powder fire extinguishing. . In this case, it is necessary to change the extinguishing nozzles 10 and 11 to ones suitable for each extinguishing agent. Furthermore, if the number of nozzles differs depending on the extinguishing agent, some of the nozzles 10 or 11 may be omitted.

(Effects of the Invention) As is clear from the above description, the present invention is capable of selectively discharging a water-based extinguishing agent and a gas or powder-based extinguishing agent using a common fire extinguishing pipe. It is more economical than installing two systems of fire extinguishing systems in parallel, and one does not interfere with the function of the other, and the switching valve operates reliably in the event of a fire to extinguish the fire properly. It is something that can be done. Therefore, the present invention has extremely great practical value as a fixed fire extinguishing system that solves the conventional problems.
