b. Prior art In general, in vehicles such as cab-over vehicles where the engine is installed below the driver's cab,
An engine service hole is provided in the floor panel for engine repair and inspection, and the engine service hole is covered with a removable cover. Since this cover partitions the vehicle interior and the engine room, it is configured to block heat and vibration noise from the engine. For example, as shown in FIG.
1 and the engine room side panel 52 are fixed to each other by welding at the peripheral edges of both ends to form an air layer 53 in the middle part, and the engine room side panel 5
A pair of elastic sealants 54 for sealing the engine service hole are adhered to the back surface of the engine service hole along the periphery of the end portion 2, and a urethane foam (insulating material ) 56 is glued.

c Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, in the conventional vehicle engine service hole cover 50, the vehicle compartment side panel 51 and the engine compartment side panel 52 are welded, and the engine compartment side panel 52 is welded together. Since the aluminum foil-attached urethane foam 56 must be uniformly adhered to the back surface of the aluminum foil, there are problems in that the work is complicated and the cost of the parts increases.

The present invention has been made to solve the problems of the prior art described above, and its gist is to provide a panel, a foamed urethane layer attached to one side of the panel, and a foamed urethane layer attached to the surface of the foamed urethane layer. In the method of manufacturing an engine service hole cover for a vehicle, the urethane foam is sprayed on one side of the panel, and before the urethane foam is foamed, the foil material for insulation is applied on the urethane foam layer. In this state, the heat insulating foil material is pressed against the foamed urethane layer side using a press mold, and after the mold is clamped, foam molding is performed.

First, the panel 4 press-molded into a predetermined shape is placed on the upper surface of the lower mold 10 with the surface facing the vehicle interior A facing downward (see FIG. 2a). Next, foamed urethane (for example, a stirred mixture of a polyol liquid and an isocyanate liquid) is sprayed onto the upper surface of the panel 4 through the nozzle 11 from a foamed urethane supply means (not shown) (see FIG. 2b). Before foaming the urethane foam, a flat plate of aluminum foil 6 is placed on top of the urethane foam (see FIG. (see Figure 2 d), then press the upper mold 12 in the direction of the arrow by a conventional means, and press the panel 4, the foamed urethane layer 5, and the aluminum foil 6 into the lower mold 10 and the upper mold 1.
At the same time, the mold is clamped in step 2, the foamed urethane is foamed and cured, and the foamed urethane layer 5 and aluminum foil 6 are simultaneously molded and integrally attached to the panel 4, thereby manufacturing the cover 3.

e. Effects of the Invention As described above, the method for manufacturing a vehicle engine service hole cover according to the present invention includes simultaneously molding a foamed urethane layer and a heat-insulating foil material on a panel constituting a three-layer structure and attaching them integrally. Therefore, the step of adhering the urethane foam layer and the heat insulating foil material to the panel can be omitted. Furthermore, the degree of freedom in shape is increased, a cover with excellent sound and heat insulation effects can be obtained, work efficiency can be increased, and it is advantageous in terms of design.
