Claims (1)

【特許請求の範囲】 1 すくなくも感光体ドラムと現像装置とを有す
る上部機枠が下部機枠に対して、前記感光体ドラ
ムの中心軸と平行な一端を支軸として分割・開放
を可能とした複写装置において、 前記現像装置は前記上部機枠に設けた前記中心
軸と平行な回動軸を中心として回動可能となつて
いて、 前記上部機枠が前記下部機枠に対して閉じた状
態では、前記現像装置は前記回動軸を中心とした
自重に基づく回転モーメントによつて、前記現像
装置の現像部は前記感光体ドラムの像形成面と設
定された間隙をもつて位置するよう付勢されると
ともに、前記上部機枠を前記下部機枠から分割・
開放することによつて、前記現像装置の現像部は
前記感光体ドラムの像形成面から離間するよう構
成した ことを特徴とする複写装置。
[Scope of Claims] 1. An upper machine frame having at least a photoconductor drum and a developing device can be divided and opened with respect to a lower machine frame using one end parallel to the central axis of the photoconductor drum as a supporting axis. In the copying apparatus, the developing device is rotatable about a rotation axis parallel to the central axis provided in the upper machine frame, and the upper machine frame is closed with respect to the lower machine frame. In this state, the developing section of the developing device is positioned with a set gap from the image forming surface of the photoreceptor drum due to a rotational moment based on its own weight around the rotating shaft. While being energized, the upper machine frame is separated from the lower machine frame.
A copying apparatus characterized in that the developing section of the developing device is separated from the image forming surface of the photosensitive drum by opening the developing device.
