By the way, the existing electric wires, which had been strung in a continuous state due to the simple and inexpensive construction, are now double-braced so that even if a wire is cut due to construction, the section adjacent to the construction section will not be affected by the cut. Recently, it has become desirable to change the state in advance.

However, this method utilizes a plurality of wire holding rods having different lengths and supporting heights for each live wire.
For this reason, it is necessary to select and adjust the length of the wire holding rod for each wire, and select the support height to the utility pole.
The wire holding rod has to support the wire in a wired state at a position removed from the existing support arm and insulator, and then support it on the utility pole, which makes the work complicated. Therefore, it is conceivable to use a telescoping tool as the wire holding rod.

When supporting the electric wire 1 with the jack 10 instead of the insulator 5 as shown in the imaginary line in FIG. 7, the nut 8 and cover plate 6 are removed from the insulator 5 as shown in FIG. Make sure you can lift it from the ground. As a result, when the wire receiver 11 is moved upward from below the wire 1 to the solid line position and the imaginary line position in FIG. It is fitted into the wire receiver 11 in a state in which it is pushed open downward against the bias (solid line state), and thereafter lifted and removed from the bifurcated portion 5a of the insulator 5, at the same time being supported in place of the insulator 5.

When each electric wire 1 is supported in this way, the electric pole 2
The existing support arm 4 and insulator 5 attached to the pole can be removed from the utility pole 1 without affecting the electric wire 1 supported by the jack 10 with the wire running through it. This removal is performed by removing the existing support arm 4 along with the insulator 5. Therefore, the complicated work of individually removing each insulator 5 from the support arm 4 at a high place is unnecessary.

(Means for solving the problems) In order to achieve the above objects, the present invention has the following features:
A support arm for new installations that can be attached to utility poles.
A pair of tension insulators extending from the support arm on both sides are connected, and a pair of telescoping devices swingably extending on both sides of the support arm are connected to a support removably attached to the support arm. A feature is that a retainer is provided at the tip of each extendable tool to clamp and hold the electric wire.

Then, when each extension tool is expanded or contracted, the positions of both sides of the existing electric wire pole that are clamped by the retaining tools at their tips are separated and stretched, and the required positions on both sides of the existing electric wire pole are adjusted as described above. By aligning and connecting to the tip of each tension insulator, the tension insulators on the newly installed support arm can switch to support in the main tensioned state, and after this, the support can be connected to this. By removing the extensions and fasteners from the newly installed support arm, it is possible to avoid them remaining attached and becoming a nuisance or hindrance.

This newly installed support arm 31 is installed in place of the existing support arm 4 using the same method shown in FIG.
Utility pole 2 (not shown in Figures 5 to 7) (not shown in Figures 5 to 7)
(Fig.). As shown in FIG. 1, this newly installed support arm 31 includes a tension insulator 32 necessary for retaining support and an extendable member 33 necessary for changing to retaining support.
Since the wires are connected in advance, there is no need to perform these operations separately at a high place, and the wires 1, which are supported as wires by the jacks 10, can be carried out without affecting the wires 1. Most of the preparations for holding the electric wire 1 are completed.

are connected. This connection is achieved by connecting the base of the tension insulator 32 to the tip of a movable arm 35 whose one end is connected to the support arm 31 through a shaft 34 through a shaft 36. The rotation of the movable arm 35 about the axis 34 and the rotation of the tension insulator 32 itself about the axis 36 allow the electric wire 1 to be freely connected in any direction. As a result, the electric wire can be easily supported on the support arm 31 even in a position different from that of the existing insulator 5.

The extendable member 33 is the same as that of the jack 10, and is connected to both sides of the support arm 31 facing each tension insulator 32. This connection is achieved by connecting the proximal end of the extendable tool 33 to a support fitting 37 detachably attached to the support arm 31 via a shaft 38. The support fitting 37 can be attached and detached by opening and closing the locking piece 37a of the support fitting 37.

As another preparatory work, as shown in FIG. 2, the portions on both sides of the electric wire 1 bordered by the newly installed support arms 31 are held by the retaining clamps 41. This gripping is performed on the bare wire portion 1a from which the coating has been removed so that there is no sagging between the retaining clamp 41 and the electric wire 1. It is also desirable to fasten the gripping portion with bolts to ensure a firm grip.

The preparation is completed with the above steps, but the
0 should be removed as soon as it is no longer needed so that it does not interfere with other work. Therefore, by first moving the wire receiver 11 downward by adjusting the length of the pair of extendable tools 12 and 13, the wire 1 supported by the jack 10 can be moved to the newly installed support arm 3.
2, the jack 10 is removed from the utility pole 2.

With this, the electric wire 1 in the wired state can be held at both ends. The electric wire 1, which has become a double-retainer, is cut between the two retainers to create an edge-cut state, as shown in Fig. 4.
The support arm 31 separated by this cutting is designed to be convenient for independent construction between each utility pole 2.
The left and right electric wires 1, 1 are connected by jumper wires 71 as shown in FIG. 4 to avoid any problems in use.

Insulating coatings 11a and 42a are applied to the U-shaped inner edges of each wire receiver 11 and 42, respectively.
Further, the wire receiver 11 and the extendable tool 12 fixed thereto may be integrated from the beginning, but it is convenient if the direction of the wire receiver 11 with respect to the extendable tools 12 and 13 can be adjusted. It is preferable to connect the extendable tool 12 with a hinge so that the direction can be changed, and to attach a fastening tool such as a fastening bolt to fix it after adjusting it to an arbitrary direction.

(Effects of the Invention) Since the present invention has the above-described structure and operation, a support arm for new installation can be attached to a utility pole, and the existing electric wire can be passed through using a retaining device at the tip of a pair of extension devices provided thereon. By simply clamping the required positions on both sides of the utility pole, the wires can be removed from the existing support arms, or even if they are separated between the clamps, the support structure and support provided by the existing support arms can be maintained. It is possible to connect using jumper wires by continuing to support both sides of the pole regardless of the situation, and by expanding and contracting the extension tool, the necessary positions on both sides of the existing electric wire pole are extended to both sides of the new support arm. By aligning the ends of a pair of tension insulators and connecting them, the newly installed support arm can switch to a state in which both sides are held in place, preventing the wires from coming off or hanging down during work. Since no complicated tools or work are required, the work can be carried out easily and safely, and depending on the timing of the jumper wire connection, power outages can also be avoided.
