登録出願によつて既に提案されている。 In cases where the oil reservoir as described above is formed near the top wall of the piston by casting or welding two piston components together without requiring any special components, manufacturability and product quality are poor and manufacturing is difficult. The problem is that costs are high. For this purpose, a piston with an oil reservoir defined on the top wall side by a shelf member provided in the inner space of the piston and fixedly connected to the piston with a screw, or a spring provided in the inner space of the piston with an oil reservoir defined on the top wall side. A piston in which an oil reservoir is defined on the top wall side by a shelf member fixedly connected to the piston by force has already been proposed in the above-mentioned utility model application.

However, such a piston has the disadvantage that its mounting structure is relatively complicated and its mounting reliability is lacking.

関用ピストンによつて達成される。 According to the present invention, the present invention includes a cup-shaped piston body having a top wall portion at one end, and an oil reservoir constituent member provided in an inner space of the piston body, and the oil reservoir constituent member is provided in an inner space of the piston body. A shelf section extending in the radial direction of the piston, and a pair of through holes fixedly connected to the shelf section and extending in the longitudinal direction of the piston to a side opposite to the top wall section and aligned with the piston pin hole. The shelf plate portion engages with the inner circumferential wall of the piston body at its outer peripheral edge to define an oil reservoir on the side of the top wall portion, and the leg portion engages with the inner circumferential wall of the piston body at its outer peripheral edge, and the leg portion engages with the inner circumferential wall of the piston body at the outer peripheral edge thereof, and defines an oil reservoir portion on the side of the top wall portion. The peripheral edge of the piston pin hole of the piston body is attached to the peripheral edge of the piston pin hole by fitting engagement in which one protrusion fits into the other recess, and the piston pin passes through the piston pin hole and the through hole. At least one of the piston body and the oil reservoir component has an oil supply passage that supplies oil to the oil reservoir and an oil discharge passage that discharges oil from the oil reservoir. This is achieved by a piston for an internal combustion engine characterized by the following.

的離脱の如何に拘らず確実に保持される。 As described above, in the piston for an internal combustion engine according to the present invention, the oil reservoir component is inserted into the cup-shaped piston body, the shelf plate portion of the oil reservoir component is engaged with the inner circumferential wall of the piston body, and the leg If the piece is temporarily elastically deformed and the peripheral edge of the through hole is connected to the peripheral edge of the piston pin hole of the piston body through a fitting engagement in which one of the protrusions fits into the recess of the other, This alone allows the oil reservoir component to be mounted in a predetermined position relative to the piston body, and is securely supported by the piston body. Furthermore, since the piston pin is passed through the piston pin hole and the through hole, the attachment of the oil reservoir component to the piston body is reliably maintained regardless of whether or not the snap-in engagement is temporarily disengaged.
