本発明は一般家庭において使用するガス燃焼タ
イプの乾燥機に係り、特に高温の燃焼ガスによる
ボデー表面の高温化防止装置に関するものであ

従来例の構成とその問題点
従来、この種のガス乾燥機においては、第1図
に示すような構成になつていた。すなわち、1は
外枠を形成する機器本体、2は本体1内に水平軸
芯の周りで回転自在に装備された回転ドラムであ
る。前記回転ドラム2の支持は、前部においては
ドラム2の前部に設けられたフランジと摺動可能
な外径を有するドラム支持板3により支持され、
後部においては、内部にフアン4を備えたフアン
ケース5の略中央部に設けた軸受6により支持さ
れている。7はモータで前記ドラム2及び前記フ
アン4をそれぞれベルト8及び9で回転を伝達し
駆動するものである。10はガスバルブ、ガバナ
ー、ノズル等を備えたバーナユニツト、11は実
際に燃焼を行なうバーナ部である。このバーナ部
11の上方に、燃焼炎を覆うように一端に開口部
を備えた燃焼筒12を設け、この燃焼筒12の他
端はU字状に屈曲して前記ドラム支持板3に設け
られた吸気孔部13に嵌合している。そして乾燥
機全体の省スペース化を図るために、前記燃焼筒
12は機器本体1の前面にごく接近した位置に、
又、第2図に示すように機器本体1の側面にも接
近した位置に設けられており、燃焼筒12内を通
過する高温(約300℃)の燃焼ガスのふく射熱に
より機器本体前面及び側面の温度上昇を防止する
ために機器本体1内面にガラス繊維などの断熱効
果のある材料又は、アルミ平板のように、ふく射
熱を反射する材質のものを機器本体1内面のA部
及びB部に密着してはり付けて設けるのが一般的
な構成であつた。しかし、この断熱材、あるいは
反射板の構成では、乾燥時間の短縮を図るために
バーナ部11でのガス燃焼量を増加した場合、よ
り高温化した燃焼筒12のふく射熱により機器本
体1の前面及び側面が高温となり手が触れると危
険であるという問題点があつた。又、逆にこの部
分の温度を下げるためにA部及びB部の隙間を多
く確保することは省スペース設計に反するという
