[問題点を解決するための手段]
前記問題点を解決するため、本発明は、地下に
埋設された老朽管を破断した後押し広げる掘削機
の破断刃であつて、掘削機のケーシングの先端部
に取り付けられ、基底部を老朽管の内径より大き
く設けた円錐体と、円錐体にその直径方向の相対
する母線に沿つて植設され、円錐体の頂部よりさ
らに延伸されたV字状の切断ブレードと、切断ブ
レードにおける老朽管の半周とほぼ同一幅をなす
両刃先に設けた係止突起と、円錐体における切断
ブレードと直交する位置の相対する母線に沿つて
植設され、切断ブレードより小幅のV字状をなす

の刃先3aによつて2つに切断され(第5図d参
照)、この切断された塩化ビニル管7′は、掘削機
の前進により拡開ブレード6及び円錐体1により

よる後退させられる力を受けないので、従来の破
断刃に比し、簡単かつ小さな力で破断することが
