保持孔8内にコネクタ5を挿入した状態で各コネ
クタ5の上面にそれぞれフツク9が係止されて各
コネクタ5が抜け止めされて成ることを特徴とす

配設され、上記挿入口3を通してそれぞれ挿入さ
れる複数の電線4がそれぞれ鎖錠部材2と導電部
材12との間に挟持されるとともに、各電線4間
が導電部材12によつて電気的に接続されるよう
にしている。図中22は隣接する鎖錠部材2間を
仕切り電線4の絡みつきを防止する仕切板であ
り、23はハウジング1の一面を閉塞する蓋板で
ある。このようにして構成されるコネクタ5とし
ては挿入口3の数が異なる各種のものが用意され
ており、第1図に示すように、挿入口3の数が異
なるコネクタ5では挿入口3の口軸方向に直交す
る一方向の辺の長さのみが異なるように形成され
ている。したがつて、複数のコネクタ5を長さの
異なる辺の走る方向に沿つて一直線上に並べたと
きにコネクタ5の両側面がそれぞれ面一に並ぶよ
うになつている。コネクタ5は基台6上に配設さ
れるものであつて、基台6は細長板状の胴部の両
端にそれぞれ下方に向かつて略L字形の胴部が延
設された形状に形成され、胴部の上面には保持孔
8が上方に向かつて開放されている。保持孔8は
上記コネクタ5の1辺に略等しい幅を有し、複数
のコネクタ5を同時に収容できるように細長形状
に開口している。保持孔8の開口縁における幅方
向の両側縁からはそれぞれ複数の保持片が上方に
向かつて延設され各保持片10にそれぞれ保持孔
8の幅方向の距離を縮しめ向きにフツク9が突設
されている。基台6としては合成樹脂のような絶
縁性を有し、かつ可撓性を有した材料によつて形
成されるものであつて、保持孔8の開口縁に沿つ
て所定の巾でスリツトを設けることにより、保持
片10にばね性を付与し、コネクタ5の保持孔8
への挿入にあたつて保持片10が撓み、コネクタ
5が保持孔8内に完全に挿入された状態で保持片
10が元の位置に復帰してフツク9がコネクタ5
の上面に係止されるようにしている。このように
して複数のコネクタ5を基台6の所望の位置に挿
着できるものであり、端子数を異なる複数のコネ
クタ5を一つの基台6上に配設することによつて
所望の端子数を有したジヨイントボツクスを構成
することができるものである。基台6には胴部の
両端部にそれぞれ係合孔15を備えた連結突起1
6が突設され、この係合孔15には基台6の胴部
上面よりも大きな面積で下面が開口したカバー7
の下端縁から延設された係合片17に挿入され
る。係合片17の下端部には引掛部18が形成さ
れ、この引掛部18が係合孔15の周縁に係合す
るものである。基台6の脚部には長孔状の取付孔
19が形成され、この取付孔19を通してねじの
ような固定具を挿入することにより、基台6が壁
などに固定されるものである。取付孔19は長孔
となつているから、基台6を取り付ける際に基台
6の位置が調節可能となつている。上述の例にお
いては上方に開口する保持孔8内にコネクタ5を
収容した例を示したが、保持孔8を基台6の側方
に開放したものであつても同様の作用を奏するこ
