この発明は画像入力機能と複写機能を備えた画

fθレンズ11を通して感光体ドラム7に走査さ
せるようになつていた。つまり、画像入力光学
系を使用した潜像記録と複写用光学系を使用し
た潜像記録とはスプリツター6によつて別れ、
原稿台、感光体ドラムおよびその周囲に配置し
た現像系、用紙などを共通にし、適時、必要に
応じて切換え使用できるように構成されてい
た。

体交差状に直線往復移動する移動基板を設け、該
移動基板上の往動停止点で入光軸と一致する位置
に複写用レンズを、復動停止点で入光軸と一致す
る位置に画像読取素子を付設した画像入力用レン
ズを設けたことを特徴としているから、原稿面か
らの反射光を複写用レンズを通して感光体ドラム
上に結像させることおよび画像入力用レンズを通
して画像読取素子により信号処理してメモリーに
記憶させるか、半導体レーザーに出力してポリゴ
ン、fθレンズを通して感光体ドラムに走査させる
ことが選択的にしかも容易にできる。また、画像
入力用レンズは複写用レンズとは別個に設けら
れ、かつ画像入力用レンズに対して画像読取素子
は予め位置調整がされ、この位置関係は複写用光
学系と画像入力用光学系の切換え時にも狂うこと
がない。さらに、複写用光学系未使用時、即ち、
画像入力用レンズが暗箱の前壁に設けた入光穴に
面しているときは、複写用レンズは暗箱の前壁の
盲部にて覆われているため、感光体ドラムが原稿
面から複数枚のミラーを経て乱反射してきた余分
な反射光に晒されるのを防止できるという、各種
のすぐれた効果を奏するものである。しかも、移
動基板が入光軸に対して立体交差状に直線往復移
動することにより、これを収容する暗箱が崇高く
ならないから、装置全体を小型化できる点も、本
願の特有な効果である。
