One example of conventional equipment is as described in JP-A-57-150377, and since highly dangerous microorganisms and chemical substances are handled in the work space, these devices are not allowed in the work space. It is considered to be an area contaminated by harmful substances. In conventional devices, equipment for work within a work space is carried in and out through a work opening formed in the front of the work space. Therefore, when large equipment is carried in and out, the formation of an air curtain at the work opening is hindered, and there is a risk that contaminants within the work space may flow out of the work space.

In addition, as another related matter, JP-A-57-
No. 83274, which discloses a configuration in which adjacent safety cabinets are connected by a connection port and a partition plate is provided only at one opening of the connection port. There is no structure in which an object storage space is formed in the object storage space and a first opening/closing means and a second opening/closing means are provided on both sides of the object storage space.
Therefore, when carrying an object into or out of the safety cabinet via the connection port, at least one of the first opening/closing means and the second opening/closing means is closed to open the object storage space to the outside. cannot be isolated once. Therefore, the structure of JP-A-57-83274 was simply changed to JP-A-57-83274.
- When combined with No. 150377, air from outside the workbench will flow into the workbench from the connection port during loading and unloading, reducing the amount of air flowing in from the opening in front of the workbench, impairing the air curtain effect. There is a problem. As mentioned above, JP-A-57-150377,
JP-A No. 57-83274 does not disclose anything about the protection of air curtains during loading and unloading of equipment.

An object of the present invention is to have an opening in which an air curtain is formed on the front surface, and a laminar flow is supplied to the inside so that either one of the openings is selectively opened to a working space maintained at negative pressure. By providing a housing with first and second opening/closing means, the air curtain protects the work area during loading and unloading of equipment to prevent contaminated materials from leaking from the opening, improving safety and reliability. Our goal is to provide an excellent workbench.

In this safety cabinet, a filter 13 is installed above the work space 3 so as to face the work space 3, and the filter 13 has a width approximately equal to the width of the work space 3 (width in the left-right direction in FIG. 2). In this way, a plurality of filters can be combined. Clean air is supplied to the work space 3 in a laminar flow from the outlet 15 at the bottom of the filter 13. In addition, a part of this clean air is sucked into the suction port 6 along with the air outside the work space 3 at the lower front of the work space 3, so this safety cabinet has airflow from the air outlet 15 to the suction port 6, and an opening. The airflow from the outside world to the suction port 6 through the part 5 has a function of preventing contaminants handled in the work space 3 from leaking to the outside world. Opening 5 for large equipment, etc.
If the equipment is brought into the work space 3, the air flow will be disturbed due to this equipment, and there is a risk that the contaminated material in the work space 3 will leak to the outside world. Therefore, a method is adopted to handle the contaminated material after the equipment is brought in. was. Furthermore, when equipment was to be carried out, the contaminants in the work space 3 had to be removed first. In the safety cabinet to which the present invention is applied, a housing 16 having a first opening/closing means 16a and a second opening/closing means 16b apart from the opening 5 is provided between the air outlet 15 and the suction opening 6. By the method described, it became possible to carry in and out equipment without passing through the opening 5.

When carrying out the equipment, the second opening/closing means 16b
In the closed state, the first opening/closing means 16a is opened and equipment is carried into the housing 16. Subsequently, the first opening/closing means 16a is closed to remove contaminants, and then the second opening/closing means 16b is opened to carry out the equipment. This results in
Even if large equipment is brought into work space 3 or taken out from work space 3,
Since at least one of the opening/closing means 16a and the second opening/closing means 16b is closed, it is possible to prevent air from flowing into the work space 3 from the housing 16. Therefore, even during loading and unloading, the amount of air flowing in from the opening 5 can be kept constant, and the working space 3 can be kept constant.
The formation of an air curtain at the opening 5 is not hindered.

Further, in this embodiment, the airflow in the work space 3 is made to be in a laminar flow state, so that it is possible to prevent the diffusion of dust from the equipment carried into the work space 3. Furthermore, when the first opening/closing means 16a is opened between the work space 3 and the case 16 as a case to carry in or take out equipment, the negative pressure in the work space 3 causes contaminants to be removed from the case 16. Even if it flows out into the work space 3, the laminar flow prevents it from spreading and contamination within the work space 3 can be prevented.
Furthermore, the first opening/closing means 16a and the second opening/closing means 1
A sealable hinged door supported by a hinge so as to be openable and closable is generally used as the opening/closing door 6b, but when the first opening/closing means 16a is opened, the negative pressure in the work space 3 causes negative pressure in the housing 16 as well. , second opening/closing means 16
b is sucked into the work space 3, improving the degree of sealing between the housing 16 and the housing 16, preventing contaminants from entering the housing 16 from outside, and improving reliability.

Next, FIG. 3 shows an example in which a plurality of safety cabinets 18 of the present invention are connected. When performing a series of operations on materials in a cabinet, the conventional method is to use a large cabinet with space for storing the equipment necessary for the operation and a space for performing the operations, and to use multiple cabinets. It is conceivable to use separate cabinets and move the material out of the openings and into the other cabinets. In this case, if a large cabinet with the space necessary for storing and working equipment is manufactured anew each time, the economic burden will be greater than that of a general product because it is a custom-made product. It will be done. Furthermore, in the method of using a plurality of cabinets, in which materials are once taken out of the cabinet and then moved to another cabinet, there is a possibility that dangerous materials inside the cabinet are also taken out at the same time as the materials are taken out.

In the method of the present invention, since cabinets each having a certain capacity of work space are connected by the housing 16, the necessary space for work can be obtained by connecting a plurality of cabinets, and the above-mentioned problems can be solved. It can be solved.

Furthermore, in the clean air outlet section, when the device is enlarged, conventionally, when attaching a plurality of punching plates 22 to the outlet provided in the case 21, a flat plate is simply bent as shown in FIG. Since only one mounting frame 23 was used, there was a drawback that the air flow was obstructed and a turbulent flow portion 27 was generated.

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 6, the clean air produced by the main body 21 is blown out directly through the punching plate 22 at the outlet portion, and at the same time, it is blown out through the punching plate 22 through the ventilation hole 25 of the mounting frame, and is blown out through the laminar flow section 28. form.
