The relatively hard part of the machine is used to rotate and polish the surface of objects to be cleaned, such as aircraft.

There was a problem that it was not suitable for cleaning the fuselage because it caused many scratches. For this reason, in reality, a rotary buff was not used, and the dirt on the surface was manually wiped off with a cleaning cloth, which took a lot of time and made it impossible to reduce work costs. There was a problem.

A woven fabric is woven with one side as the weft and the other as the warp, and the thick fiber bundles are oriented in the longitudinal direction to form a circular ring, and then the central part is folded back and woven while narrowing inward. The fabric is polymerized and formed into a donut disk shape, with the fiber bundles oriented in the radial direction.

の能率が向上する。 On the outer peripheral surface of the buff body, many cut ends of the fiber bundles, that is, cut ends of cotton fibers or cotton threads, etc., are exposed, and the density of thin threads relative to the fiber bundles is small, so the outer peripheral surface of the buff main body is soft and sticky as a whole. The contact with the surface of the object to be polished becomes soft, and the surface of the object to be polished is not damaged. Furthermore, since rotary polishing becomes possible, the efficiency of polishing operations such as cleaning and surface finishing is improved.

A buff body 3 formed from a woven fabric 4 described later using the same clamp fitting 2
The inner periphery of the clamp is gripped.
As shown in FIG. 2, the clamp fitting 2 is clamped and held from both sides by a gripping piece 1a formed by cutting and raising the outer circumferential portion of the mounting metal fitting 1 and a press-molded gripping piece 1b.

用バフを形成する。 As shown in Fig. 3, a large number of thin cotton threads 5, e.g.
20 to 30 fibers are twisted together to form a twisted thread 6 as a thick fiber bundle. Next, this twisted yarn 6 is turned into a weft 6'
Then, using another continuous thin cotton thread 5 as the warp thread 5', both threads 6' and 5' are woven to form a woven fabric 4 as shown in FIG. Thereafter, this woven fabric 4 is cut into a predetermined rectangular shape, and then formed into a cylindrical shape (multiple windings may be used) in which the twisted threads 6' are arranged in the longitudinal direction as shown in FIG. The woven fabric 4 is polymerized by folding the woven fabric 4 while narrowing the center part shown by the chain line inward, and as shown in the cross section of only one side in FIG. A cloth 8 is formed. Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 8, a plurality of the buff cloths 8 are stacked one on top of the other to form a donut-shaped buff body 3, and the inner circumferential edge of the buff body 3 is connected to the clamp tongues 2a to 2a of the clamp fitting 2. 2a from both sides. In this way, a polishing buff as shown in FIG. 1 is formed.

Although the independent cotton threads 5 are used as the warp threads 5', the woven fabric 4 may be formed using the twisted threads 6 as the warp threads and the cotton threads 5 as the weft threads.

清掃され、清掃作業が迅速に行なわれる。 In the embodiment of the present invention, the cut ends of the twisted threads 6 are exposed on the entire outer peripheral surface of the buff body 3, and the density of the warp threads 5' relative to the weft threads 6' is extremely small, so that the tips of the soft fibers of the cotton threads 5 are exposed. Numerous pieces are exposed, forming a soft carpet-like cleaning surface as a whole. When this buff is attached to a rotating device (not shown) and rotated, and the outer peripheral surface of the buff comes into contact with the surface of the object to be cleaned, such as the fuselage of an aircraft, the contact of the cleaning surface to the surface becomes soft, and the same surface becomes damaged. The cleaning work is done quickly and without being washed away.
