ロールの回転に支障を与えたりするおそれがある
ので定期的に稼動を止め炉内に人が入つてスケー
ルを清掃する必要があつたが、その作業には大変
な労力および時間を要していた。一方、昨今は省
エネルギー化のために被熱物がぎりぎりで通過で
きる程度にまで炉内空間を狭くしているが、その
場合では炉内に人が入る予裕がないこともあり清
掃が困難なこともあつた。

用に増大させるこなく、かつ炉内清掃を容易なら
しめんとするものである。

されるものである。なおこの炉は全長が長いので
中間部のみを継断面にて図示した。図において、

…はその搬送方向に対して一定間隔に数多く設け
られたロールで、該ロールはその両端部が炉外に
設置された軸受(図示せず)により回転自在に支
持されている。断熱材料からなる炉体3は支脚
4,4…にてフロア5上に支持されている。炉壁
6には炉長方向に沿い複数のバーナ7,7…が設
置されている。8は煙道である。炉床9の直下に
は炉長方向の排出路10を形成すると共に、炉床
9のロール2,2…直下位置に排出路10に面す
る排出口11を開設する。該排出口の両側の炉床
下面には軸受12,12…を垂下し該軸受12,
12…により枢軸13a,13bを回転自在に支
持する。枢軸13a,13bには上面にセラミツ
クフアイバ15を貼着した板状のスケール受け1

ル受け16a,16bを略々水平に保つことによ
り該排出口11を閉塞させる。17,17…はス

つことにより排出口11を気密に閉塞し得るよう
にしている。18は枢軸13a,13bに連結さ
れた操作軸で、該操作軸18は炉壁下に設けられ
た軸受19およびチヤンネル部材20に設けられ
た軸受21によつて回転自在かつ進退自在に軸支
されその一端にはハンドル22、他端には二股状
片23が設けられ、操作軸18を進出させたとき
該二股状片23が枢軸13a,13bの一端に固
植された半径方向のピン24,24に係合するよ
うにしている。25は操作軸18に対してラチエ
ツト機構(図示せず)を介して嵌着された制動リ
ング、26は該制動リング25の外周の突片27
を衝止させるためチヤンネル部材20に突設され
た横棒、28は該横棒26とともに突片27を挾
着するためブラケツト29に進退自在に支承され
たストツパ、30は該ストツパ28を進退動させ
る操作レバーを示す。
