When constructing large roofs for factories, etc., folded roofing materials are stacked one on top of the other. During such construction, in order to shorten the length of the roofing materials and streamline the transportation and construction work, the longitudinal ends of the roofing materials are overlapped and transported in the span direction of the roof from the ridge to the eaves. things are being done. Therefore, in such a structure, it is necessary to prevent rainwater from entering through the overlapped portion of the roofing material. The present invention provides a roof waterproof belt that can suitably prevent such rainwater from entering.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be specifically described with reference to illustrative embodiments. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a roof waterproof belt 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention. This waterproof belt 1 includes a plurality of cylindrical bodies 3 in which hollow portions 2 having a circular cross section are formed in the longitudinal direction, a flat connecting piece 4 that connects the cylindrical bodies 3, and protruding from both upper and lower surfaces of the cylindrical bodies 3. It is made up of protrusions 5. The waterproof belt 1 is formed by integrally molding a flexible material such as soft rubber, soft plastic, or closed-cell foamed plastic. Since the entire structure is made of a flexible material, it can be easily elastically deformed and has a restoring force. In this case, since the hollow part 2 is formed in the cylindrical body 3, the cylindrical body 3 is deformed in the direction of the pressure even by a slight pressure, so that it adheres closely to the roofing material along the bending structure of the roofing material. . In addition, although the protrusions 5 are formed to have a triangular cross section in this embodiment, since they protrude outward from both the upper and lower surfaces of the cylindrical body 3, when the gap between the roofing materials is larger than the outer diameter of the cylindrical body 3, It can also adhere closely to roofing materials and increase its waterproofing effect.

Such a waterproof belt 1 is inserted into the overlapping part of the roofing material to prevent rainwater from penetrating through the overlapping part. FIG. 2 is a sectional view showing this construction state.

The waterproof belt 1 is pre-formed to match the bent shape of the roofing materials 11 and 12 having a plate structure, and has hollow portions 2 at the longitudinal ends 13 and 14 of the roofing materials 11 and 12.
A cylindrical body 3 having a cylindrical body 3 formed thereon is provided in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the roofing material. For roof construction, roofing material 1
By overlapping the eave-side end 13 of the roofing material 11 with the waterproof belt 1 attached to the upper surface, the roofing material is continuously installed in the span direction of the roof from the ridge to the eaves. Ru. Here, the roofing material 12 is located on the ridge side of the roof, and the roofing material 11 is located on the eave side of the roof. Due to such overlapping, the waterproof belt 1 is interposed in the overlapped part of the roofing materials, so the waterproof belt 11 is elastically deformed by the pressing force of the overlapped part of the roofing materials, and creates a gap between the roofing materials 11 and 12. It is interposed between the roofing materials 11 and 12 in a state where they are in close contact with each other, and it is possible to effectively prevent rainwater from leaking from the overlapping portion. Moreover, since the waterproof belt 1 easily follows the expansion and contraction of the roofing materials 11 and 12 due to the formation of the hollow portion 2, the sealing performance can be maintained for a long time without decreasing the adhesion over time. I can do it.

FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of the roofing material after it has been polymerized. In areas where the gap between the roofing materials 11 and 12 is small, the protrusion 5 bends greatly and the cylindrical body 3 is crushed and comes into close contact with the roofing materials 11 and 12, thereby increasing waterproofing power. On the other hand, the roofing materials 11 and 12 are deformed and the mutual consistency between the roofing materials 11 and 12 is poor,
Even if a large gap is created between the roofing materials 11 and 12 due to expansion and contraction of the roofing materials 11 and 12, the protrusion 5 extending outward from the outside of the middle cylinder portion 2 will follow the gap. Since it can be deformed, the protrusions 5 come into close contact with the roofing materials 11 and 12 to prevent rainwater from entering. Therefore, the mutual deformation of the hollow portion 2 and the protrusion 5 maintains the waterproof effect.

Note that various modifications can be made to the present invention. The cross-sectional shape of the hollow portion may be triangular, hexagonal, oval, or rectangular, and the cross-sectional shape of the protrusion may be similarly changed.

As described above, according to the present invention, since the waterproof belt is brought into close contact with the overlapping portion of the longitudinal end portion of the roof material, it is possible to prevent infiltration from the overlapping portion. Therefore, since the roofing materials can be connected in the span direction of the roof, the length of the roofing materials can be shortened, which is effective in making construction work more efficient and transportation and storage easier.
