板幅精度を向上させることが検討されている。

力が伝わらないため、ストリツプSが薄物の場合
でも該ストリツプSに座屈が生じることがない。
更に竪ロール8の軸線lは圧延ラインに対して直
交しているため幅圧下時にストリツプ端部と竪ロ
ール8外周との間でストリツプが生じることがな
く、従つてストリツプ端部が損傷したり或いは竪
ロール8外周に傷が付いたりすることはない。

の傾動装置が不要となり、装置が小型化し且つ設
備費が安価となる、等種々の優れた効果を奏し得
る。
